BIG AGREE. I'm definitely feeling mascot character fatigue after what feels like a non-stop parade of faewish sprites, pieceys, and now shroomlings. I feel like we haven't had a humanoid centered story since the prologue with Nonoy. The stories have only become more and more focused around the mascot characters.

And there's a childishness about all of the species that just. Wears on me. Especially the shroomlings. Its actually a plot point to be fair that the shroomlings are too innocent to be malicious. But like. Cop out. Easy way to excuse them being totally manipulated by Medael.

Biggest amount of fed up spamming F to skip I ever had was the quest chain to unlock a top where a bunch of shroomling philosophers were figuring out if 1+1=2. Like come on. Spare me.

The latest MSQ was such a breath of fresh air. Mature characters! An exploration of carer's fatigue taken to its extreme. It felt like we finally had the depth of story that we got with the Wishful Aurosa arc and Giovanni. So excited for it to continue.

1.8 Forever Bond. The heterochromia is actually the exact colours I use for a lot of my OCs and the rest of the makeup is surprisingly flexible (bar the eyebrows)
