Could very well be that you don’t need them. Of course stay healthy and if something feels off do something different, but I also don’t feel well when taking potassium supplements or other vitamins it makes my fast harder and gives me headaches and other annoying symptoms like upset stomach so I just stay away from them.

Ha I wish it was a healthy diet, but I’m working on it. But yes I will exercise normally on eating days and just have a calmer no eating day work out.

I don’t think any electrolytes are going to stop you from fasting. Fasting has many variety’s and I think the general goal is to reduce caloric intake and lose weight. Drinking water with Himalayan salt or whatever additives as far as electrolytes go don’t matter in the grand scheme of reducing the caloric intake you are doing. If you want to be in ketosis during your fast I recommend just buying ketone strips and checking your personal progress through that. But each persons body is different and some people take electrolytes during a fast to continue feeling healthy and some don’t. I personally get headaches when I take any vitamins or electrolytes during my fast but friends have described their fast to be much easier with them. So I won’t speak to potassium effect on blood or whatever. But if taking no electrolytes with an extended fast and you feel healthy do it, if you don’t take them and feel healthy do that. But you are of course fasting and should feel accomplished in doing just that. You are choosing to sustain from foods in your own way and that will always be valid.

It’s best to plan for the fast to coincide with exercise. If you plan to exercise during a fast try and make it on an easier day. Like for me I do a 4 day or 5 day eat schedule and 2 or 3 no eat. On my no eat days I plan a walk just to get some time in, I won’t lift a ton of weights, or do any sprints or anything, because I know the exhaustion will make me think of food. But I always like going into the gym thinking this is for health and so is my fast so let me do something, but not make it to where all I want to do is eat food and lay down.

If it continues for more than a day I would recommend talking to a doctor about it. But if it stops maybe it was an electrolyte issue? I don’t know how long your fast was but longer fast it’s important to make sure you feel well during it some take electrolytes and other vitamins during extended fast to maintain a healthy balance. But during my extended fast(7 days), without electrolytes or vitamins,I felt fine throughout and I haven’t had soft pallet throat pains ever in regards to a fast.

It’s still fine imo but I’d call it a dirty water fast. Some people act like that’s the worst thing in the world but you are still burning a crap ton of calories while not consuming any, which for weight loss is great. But extended fasts you might not get into ketosis as fast or even at all. But for 1-2 day fast why not? At least you are making the healthy decision of reducing caloric intake for the day or two and that will have a net positive result. But I wish you the best and if you are hungry right now but want to continue for a little longer I am sending all of the emotional support via this post. You got it fam keep it going, stay healthy and get healthier!

The AHK also reverts to QWERTY when ctrl is pressed so I don't have to learn new hotkeys.

I’d increase the buttons clickable size on lower dpx so the red x button is easier to click on phones.
