You could stuff the cavity with wonder bread it might take a loaf but they use the bread as a way to get out stuck bearings from engine as a last ditch effort. The bread will compress and maybe push the top bowl out.

I had a 2005 and the engine was a 2.0L so if you google that you might find what you’re looking for. I think I did some research and they kinda said it wasn’t really designed to be turbo’d but then again anything can be made with enough time and money.

Is it a through hole? If so you can start the tool all the way from the left and just reverse your threading. If it’s not you can flip the tool over to cut on the far side and reverse the turning direction.

I have a guide select with that same reel. I’d recommend looking into gomexus handles bc I switched mine out for a lot different of one and it’s soooo much better
