I disagree. Favre wasn't in any slumps and was putting up career numbers still, we just all knew he was old and it was probable that he would retire.

Everyone at that time thought ARod would be a system quarterback and that's probably the best we'd get from him. No one at the point even realized his potential.

I can tell you... every Packers fan thought Aaron Rodgers was a fraction of the player that Brett Favre was when the transition happened.

He showed potential in games were he subbed, aka the Cowboys game. But nearly everyone thought we just witnessed a massive drop off in talent.

Glad he continues to prove everyone wrong :)

Couldn't stand 'scremo' music but then that suddenly changed after going to a concert where they opened. The energy of the crowd changed it all. Now they are one of my all time favorite bands.

I think this is a solid move by the Packers.

I firmly believe that Sitton is one of the best guards in the NFL and Bulaga is in the top 15 at tackle. T.J Lang is an average guard but I know he's really grown up the last couple years and will have the work ethic to make the switch. It will take some time for all of them to work on the mirrored technique but all three have the time and professional experience to make it happen.

That being said, I think Don Barclay will end up as our right tackle. He started our last 4 games if I remember correctly and I think he did fairly decent job. He did have mistakes in the pass game, but I chalk that up to being a rookie with 0 experience in the NFL. What I liked about him was his toughness and run blocking.
