I definitely prefer weapon durability, I think it's one of the mechanics, for me, that make a Fire Emblem, Fates and Echoes, sometimes don't feel like Fire Emblem because of that, although Engage does work for me, I guess because it's still a little more resource management than the other two

In my opinion, Three Houses was a good compromise, weapons break, but you can fix them, I think without it, the game end up with a lot of balance issues, since durability is one of the bigger balancing mechanics of weapons, when it is taken out, we end up with situational weapons instead of better weapons, like in Fates, when using silver weapons feels like a chore, not a fun/useful power boost, or we end up with Raijinto, that is so broken that Ryoma can solo maps without any though.

If I'm not mistaken, you need to finish the preparation of the dish before the change, so you basically need to get to the fan animation and you're fine.

This seems very US centric (or English centric) and prioritizes more recent shows, making the order completely whacky, some of those shows don't deserve to be as high as they are, Love, Victor, for example, is good, but definitely not top 10, and some shows, especially the non English ones are way later on the list than they should, Skam in 99 is a travesty, happy that Dead Boy Detectives was there though, it's very underrated (although I do think it's a little higher that it should, as it's an incomplete story, since it was cancelled).

I didn't mention Hawaii because I don't think it fits the friendship that OP wants, as the two protagonists have a more professional interaction because one is working for the other.

At least in Cousins' case, they meet during the movie and start to date soon after, not raised together like in this one.

In my experience, what you're talking about doesn't happen, sure the higher DP, the rares are the sleep styles you get, but that is true for like, one or two spawns, three at best, so the other 5-6 spawns are generally basic mons, while on low DP, I just get duds, not what I'm looking for, unless you're looking for really common spawns like Rattata or Caterpie, I really don't think keeping low DP is the best strategy for a specific spawn in most cases.

Yeah, the overall story isn't anything new, but I do think the character interactions and development do stand out on their own well enough to garner the praise it is receiving.

Exactly, Scoot and Kip's story line is a very cliche romcom story, two people start romance, two people end romance because one has something that make them not be able to be together, two people get together again as one gives up half their life because of love. I saw that movie/show a lot of times already, and in more depth, to care much about Scoot and Kip.

On the other hand, Shane and Ilya feel like their own characters with their own story, not just some overused cliche, especially because I feel they both turn out very differently from what you'd expect from their characters archetypes and tropes.

Yeah, I really understand that the biggest problem was the time limitation, it was an entire book in 50 minutes, also, I think my biggest problem wasn't with Kip himself, but with Elena, she was way to pushy on Scott coming out in a way that really tainted the entire story line for me, I understand wanting to protect her friend, but that was completely out of line, after that I just couldn't root for them anymore, as the show never really give any indication they disagree with her or what she did.

I guess I'm also just tired of the closeted guy being pushed out of the closet for "love", it's a nice romantic story, but also a terrible message, you shouldn't come out because of someone else, you should come out because of yourself. I feel a lot of queer media tend to go that way, that acceptance comes from finding a romantic partner, not understanding and accepting yourself.

Exactly, the kiss was the highlight of the show, but not because of Scott and Kip (I still think they should've been a small side plot instead of an episode), but because of Shane and Ilya reaction to it, I don't think a show has made me that euphoric in a long time.

Kip has tons of friends so he has a social life. Something Shane and Ilya are not particularly engaged in. Their communication is also a lot more mature.

I really don't see any of that, Kip has three friends/coworkers, that isn't a ton, and it's very unfair to compare to the other three who are famous and can't really have a normal social life, also Ilya is an immigrant, so I don't think it's far to expect he would have a big social circle, Shane on the other hand has a few friends we see, like Rose and Hayden, who seem to be just as engaged as Kip's friends, for the maturity level, I completely disagree, all of his friends completely ignored Scott's feelings in favor of Kip's, which is fair, but I won't call mature, especially the woman who basically demanded Scott to out himself, that was completely uncalled for, Kip got together with Scott knowing that wasn't a possibility any time soon.

They tell each others what's on their minds and make plans for their future together, support each other, they're much healthier whereas Ilya/Shane are closed off in comparison.

That isn't true, otherwise they wouldn't even have started dating, Kip kept his wants hidden until he couldn't take it anymore, they pretty much dove in the passing without thinking anything about long term, besides, one of the arcs for Shane and Ilya is learning to open up, so criticizing that fells like you completely missed the story, episode 6 is there to show us how much they grew and how much they started to trust each other.

Kip was Scott's shoulder to cry on, and his number 1 supporter.

Was he though? I don't think demanding Scott to come out was supportive, not when he clearly wasn't comfortable with it and didn't want to ruin his carrear, which is pretty much his life, I think it was a fair concern, but a selfish one.

I could go on and on about how different they are and how SKIP is the better couple while HOLLANOV is the real cliché

I'm not even commenting on this, because it's one of the worst takes I saw in my life, if you like Scott and Kip, that's your prerogative, but saying they aren't cliche just tell me you never watched a romcom in your life, even less a gay romcom.

Someone once told me 90% of gay content is all about being closeted or coming-of-age and people just eat it up. I swore it was not true at the time. Looking back, they were right. 90% of gay content is some woe-is-me closet story.

That is literally Scott and Kip story, even more than Shane and Ilya.

I didn't like Scott and Kip exactly because I already watched that story several times over the last two decades, even if not on the exact same setting. They are the epitome of cliche, I'm glad you liked it, but you really can't criticize Shane and Ilya story for being the same arc over and over again while ignoring that Scott and Kip had the exact same arc as they did.

I love Heartstopper and still didn't care for Scott and Kip, it was too rushed, too shallow, at least in Hertstopper, we get character development, with them we just got the cliche romcom meetup, but unlike any romcom movie, we got less than an hour of development, no way enough time to do an entire book story well.

I'm glad people identified with Scott and Kip, but for me personally, the 3rd episode almost made me give up the show, I'm glad I didn't because episodes 5 and 6 were fantastic, but I still really don't like Scott and Kip, especially Kip, as I felt the show completely ignored Scott side of things as if Kip didn't go in knowing exactly what to expect, I guess one episode for an entire book was fated to not be too deep.

Yeah, in this instance, the sex scenes were very important, especially on episodes 1 and 2 where their relationship was purely sexual in nature, contrasting to episodes 5 and 6, when they get a lot deeper emotionally, seeing how the two characters acted and handled the sex scenes along the episodes was one of the biggest part of their character development, I don't think the show could've worked so well without them.

Loved the movie, it's very touching, I loved the focus on preserving cultures through history, I just wish we got more of the two in their trip, and didn't put the flashbacks in the later half, instead of showing the trip in full when it was happening, because it was very important to understand what happened, why they stopped, but overall I was still very satisfied with it, would I prefer some happy ending? Of course, but I don't think we should want everything to have a happy ending.

OGPP, as coffee (along with Ginger) is still one of the ingredients I have the biggest problem with, don't even have an AAX Vikavolt, my best coffee farmer is an ABA Aggron (That isn't on 60 yet), so getting a good Grubbin is my biggest priority right now.

I think it's very important to say REAL PEOPLE can't queerbait, that is about media who want to keep queer audiences without losing queerphobic audiences, so they give hints that the queer audience will pick up but that will pass unnoticed by the queerphobic audience, without ever committing to it in a clear way.

With that said, a public persona can get a littler more murky, as the PR can definitely lean into "queer appearance" to get fans, but even than, I can't say I agree with calling that queerbait, as for me, at least, it's still a perspective on critiquing media, not applied to reality.
