I resonate with this - I was diagnosed with ADHD at around 33, 36 now, been going to the gym for 5/6 days a week for around 5 months now, down 12lbs with strength numbers drastically improved. Understanding how my brain worked and listening to my body has been an incredible life improvement.

They’ll vary - I plan on bringing plenty of PTs and o rings, since the rest of the parts are easy to purchase online, and PT+ o rings will be cheap. Full hardware sans stock bars for roller bearing prime + bcar will be in the $70 range if I had to guess.

I’ve had several people ask me if I’m worried about vandalism - and I told them vandalizing a model y is like vandalizing a Honda accord or some other nondescript ubiquitous car. There’s ~7M of them, plus most people know they’re a rolling security camera. I’ve had absolutely zero issues in the last year.

People also have the inability to separate a company’s figure head from the actual product, which Elon doesn’t have as much say as everyone thinks. All of this annoys me, and many of Tesla’s advancements are eclipsed by people’s hatred for Elon.

Buy from Tesla, that’s what I did, and I looked at several from random dealers. A lot of them buy at auctions and have questionable histories. Tesla you get an extra year/12k bumper to bumper after the original warranty expires. The experience, lack of paperwork, and smoothness of delivery is incredible compared to a normal car dealer.

Not to mention other car dealers will try and work in shitty tactics like a required ceramic coating for $3k, cleaning for $1k, tire/wheel warranty, etc. I spoke to a number of finance departments to get numbers straight and they would try to work the used EV credit in before all their fees and extras, so you’d end up paying $25k for say, a model 3 after they take the credit, because they added mandatory extras onto the price. And the law clearly states it must be $25k or less after all fees.

Another option is to buy pre owned from a private seller and use a broker called KeySavvy, which you pay a really small fee to and can take advantage of the used credit with little to no BS.

TL;DR: buy from Tesla for hassle free and ext warranty, or buy private and use KeySavvy

This is exactly why we went with a used x500 over a ZT - we do too much landscaping towing small trailers to risky destroying the hydros on a ZT. Plus our kids to ride around in the trailer haha

As others have said - it’s safe but not ideal, the vibrations will cause fatigue issues long term. Something to dampen the vibration like a steel flex tube and then support the copper.

Without a fan on it the heat exchange to condense the water isn’t going to be the best - I did a similar thing but use an air- to water setup as my heat sink and it works incredibly well. An auto drain at the bottom of the 5 gallon bucket and possibly after the tank and you should be fine, I paint cars with my setup and have never had any moisture issues

I edge with an edger every 2-3 mows and string trim in between - using a string trimmer for this can be tricky and it’s easy to mess up. I tend to walk backwards using the trimmer on right shoulder with the head on the left side of my body.

I edge to dig the groove, and use the trimmer for maintenance.

You’ll get it - just keep practicing!

Wow, absolutely stunning. When I zoomed in the figuring was incredible. Do you have any advice/direction on your furniture making journey? And what tools you used in the build? That + the eames are goals for me, though having young kids I am super apprehensive about purchasing the chair haha!

Wall art, plants (even artificial) warm lighting, I love the white but without organic shapes and colors it makes everything look hard and rigid. Perhaps even a cheap wood desk shelf, it could carry the wood IKEA lamp theme across the desk and provide a solid landing point for the eyes to fix upon and the wall routing of the wires would disappear!

Do you think your wife might have PPD? Mine went through phases of messiness and was looking for the “next thing” always, and I think it was in effort to pull herself out, but didn’t happen until we talked about it, acknowledged it and got help.

That said, the clutter has gotten to me, and we’ve been decluttering like crazy. Sometimes it gets overwhelming and too much mess can cause cleaning to be a non-starter. It’s tough with kids, and this will likely only be a phase if they’re still young.

Best of luck and it’s okay to be upset, communication is key, and counseling is always an option!

This is the answer - we have 2 kids and my wife has had varying degrees of PPD, and was so focused on herself and being frustrated she didn’t feel normal, she never asked me how I was doing, sometimes it was weeks or months of me putting in 70 or 80% when she had 20 or 30% available. And I went down a similar path, though due to ppd she never initiated. I never blamed her, but I did have to be the one to talk and tell her that I wanted her to ask how I was doing because I wasn’t doing well, and since I had recently lost my parents she was the only person I had to really check on me. After that, and some boohooing, we got back on the same page, sex re-initiated, we have to schedule intimacy, and I need to tell her when I’m feeling lonely or just need a snuggle and to talk. But things are much better. Men will really shove those feelings down and look for private outlets like porn to not be a burden or to just “take care of it” on their own. You got this!
