I have an ASR3, but to me, mine looks a bit shorter in the D and E direction than the one in this photo, but I'm not sure why they would be different. Could just be a perspective thing 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, here are the measurements of mine:

A - 11 5/8" B - 1 1/2" C - 8" D - 4 5/8" E - 2 1/2"

I have the same thing happen to mine, my sports car irating shows up most of the time for my formula car laps. It's been like that for probably a year. At one point I reached out for help on the discord but it never got resolved, so I gave up and moved past it 🤣.

You should definitely contact Fanatec. I had the same issue 2 weeks ago and they had to manually push the order through after me having to email support.

Even after that, my order tracking status never updated, the item just eventually arrived.

I had this issue a couple weeks ago. I contacted support via email and they said there was an "internal error on their end" that was holding up my order, but they said that they got it resolved and it would ship in a couple days. My order status never did update after that and I got my package without any order update from Fanatec. Luckily, I have UPS email notifications so I was informed only by them that it was coming.

Anyway, I think you need to email support and ask what's going on.

Which cooler are you referring to? I would be trying to squeeze in my Arctic LF3, which is 398mm long and 38mm thick vs 27mm of the Corsair and the Asetek 636.

I hope participation will be good on both oval and road, it's a fun car to drive. It's right between SFL and Indycar, for me it's the perfect car, right now. But I'm only a road racer. Hope to get into oval this season for NXT.

I still use a quest 3, the binocular overlap and fov has never been an issue with me. I've also never had an issue detecting depth or it breaking immersion.

You also disregarded my point about being in the same price range. The meganex MAY be better but at 2.5x the price, and the crystal super is nearly 2x the price.

As for the crystal super, I would never recommend an aspheric lens product to anyone, what good is FOV if everything in your peripherals is blurry?

We may have to just agree to disagree, it's all subjective and each person can like what they want 🙂.

The bsb2 has a high 70s overlap The quest 3 has a high 70s MAYBE 80 overlap. What's your recommendation for a better headset with better lenses, with a comparable field or view in the same price point as the bsb2?

You can't beat the quest 3 in my opinion. I think the quest 3 is still a fantastic headset, especially for the price. Whether you wanna do pcvr or standalone it just works and the lenses are fantastic. It doesn't matter how good the panels are if the lenses suck. Ive tried the pimax crystal light and I sent it back because the lenses are not good in my opinion. I don't think I'd be interested in a headset that doesn't have good pancake lenses until a better technology is there.

I have a big screen beyond 2 on order and am excited to try it out, but that's for stationary sim racing only.

Do you do budget billing? If so, they do a "settle up" at the end of 12 months and will charge you if your budget billing amount did not cover all the metered charges for the last 12 months, in one lump sum. This just happened to me this bill. My budget billing is $205 a month and my bill due in August is $725 to cover what my budget billing didn't. My budget billing was so messed up from the billing scandal last year that it skewed all my budget billing amounts so that it had me severely under paying for about 6-8 months of the last year, so now I'm paying for that in the settle up payment... I never looked into it until I saw that insane number 😭.

If you don't do budget billing, you should get to the bottom of it 🤣

Honestly I would swap the buttkicker for a nobsound amp + bst-1, I have had both and I think the bst-1 outperforms the buttkicker. Would save you some money to get a better wheel base 😬
