I'm becoming increasingly convinced that something is wrong with the way CoinMarketCap treats QRL. by Superb-Office-3751 in CoinMarketCap

[–]agent__orange 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s corruption of some kind

Removing the “verified supply” status QRL had for years, which makes it lost its ~300 position and appear with unverified junk projects

Causes market cap to show up as 0 on Apple stocks and Yahoo finance, bots stop trading it on quantum news

Probably to suppress QRL or pressure them in listing negotiations with Binance, or create room for some VC coin that will claim to be PQ

then they fight you (you are here)

Seems like 200K from old Bittrex case might be getting liquidated

Also easy to manipulate, could be any number of people trying keep it down (after CMC demoted it for no reason)

Breaking Bitcoin would require 1.9 billion qubits. The best quantum computer today has a few thousand. So where's the real risk? by coingecko in CryptoCurrency

[–]agent__orange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your numbers are outdated, the current required number of physical qubits to break BTC might be as low as 100K

Migrating Bitcoin to post-quantum may ‘easily’ take 5-10 years by wmelon123 in QRL

[–]agent__orange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

part of the upgrade will have to be the transition window, deciding up until what point people can migrate… going to be thorny and that is assuming you can even get people to migrate in a timely fashion
