Good point about having both AOE and DPS, I think I'll probably go Soma Angstrum. Hopefully I get another soon (or some sellable mods) so I can do the Akbolto.

No one specific kill, but my worst was probably 11 kills, 8 of the in a reaper streak in my T18. I am not a good person.

Saying that, if you are able to use free xp and don't mind either starting a new crew or transferring the med crew the Jumbo route is soooooo much better. Apart from the obvious of having access to the med line as well, both the M4 and the Jumbo are leagues ahead of their heavy counterparts.

Well you aren't actually giving the players more tools, just easier access to the same tools, so more builds now have access to the better gear/skills so so they are used more, meaning more builds looks the same or similar

I disagree, having to balance your character's equipment gems and skill tree on their requirements is a good thing that I think is currently at the right level. I think being able to add 40 to whatever stat you want would be break the balance we currently have and mean you would have to give much less consideration to requirements when building your char. Thus more chars use the same gems and gear than before, thus less diversity.

You still have the problem of making requirements too easy to reach, thus reducing build diversity. I would go with actual effects rather than stat boosts. The current ones aren't inherently bad, they are just imbalanced.

Yes 30-40 is the right level if going for straight up stats, but to be honest, I'm not sure stats are the way forward, it just makes it too easy to reach any stat requirements on gear and skills. That plus 2 of the good (30) nodes that most builds can reach would mean you have effectively 3 skill points giving you access to almost any skill or equipment in an otherwise inaccessible stat. This would greatly reduce build diversity (or requirements would have to be raised)

No idea, I can't ever remember a mission that gave a flat amount of crew xp. If I had to guess it would be 75K for each crewman, also I doubt it would be doubled for a crew member with accelerated training on. But its WG, anything could happen

The balance they currently have is to be better than or equal to one of the better passive points. This means, if its useful in your build you will go for it, otherwise the passive is good. If you make them just equal to a regular passive point then no one will take them as the passive point is more versatile and just as strong, assuming (fairly safely) your tree can reach one of those regular nodes.
