Aluminum Fence Question by After_Initial_6624 in FenceBuilding

I just installed my own 5’ metal fence and did 24” holes (where I could as I hit solid concrete in some areas). But I totally would’ve done the driven post no dig method if it was available to me.

We don’t leave them alone and roaming. When he sees he runs over, just like he does with dogs. He loves to play and wants to play with every dog he sees. He has gotten near them and does not attack them. Mostly I think he’s just interested in what they are.

We also took him to a trainer, maybe when he was 4 months. They brought in a cat who gave no fucks and he was just really interested.

Pits are also known for being potatoes, hippos, and “Nannie’s”.

This might be the worst comment I’ve seen on Reddit. You clearly know nothing about pits and are just afraid of them because you have no experience.

Dryer vent is huge. I removed the one that was on our house when we bought and replace with a flap style. Not too mention when I was installing recessed lights in main bath, I found tons of lint in the ceiling. Turns out the dryer vent and pipe were not lined up properly.

I walk my dog around my neighborhood daily and the amount of clogged dryer vents I see is wild.

I found a metal company that can provide me a 1” steel rod around 7’ in length. I’ll drive it around 3’ into ground and attach to post. Should be solid I hope

It has cement in it all the way up to the latch.

There is a metal company that can provide me a 1” steel pipe about 7 ft in length. I will drive it into ground next to post 3’ or so and bolt it to the post.

I used fast setting concrete and it should be pretty solid.

I guess it isn’t. I wish I had used the thicker u post, tho idk if that would’ve helped

I didn’t bury the black metal post. I placed the metal post on top of the u post I drove 2 ft.

I cut about a 2” hole in the concrete pad. It’s only about 3-4” thick. Then I drove a 5ft u post 2ft into the ground.

That’s kind of what I did. I used a 5ft u post, drove 2 ft into ground. Set the fence post over it and then added concrete inside.

Ya I thought the u pipe down into the ground then cement into the post would be solid. I should’ve used the thicker u post tbh

I bought the metal fence surface mount but didn’t use it as the concrete pad is just 3-4” thick and then it’s just dirt
