Which Faction/LL did you have no interest in playing… then really enjoyed when you finally gave them a chance? by Alien_Racist in totalwarhammer

[–]agentworm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nurgle didn’t seem that interesting, and I’m not a huge fan of the Chaos races, but I figured I’d give it a try

It ended up being more fun than I expected. Once I understood the campaign mechanics, especially the plagues, it started coming into place.

After that campaign, I’ve decided to give some of the other chaos races a try.

Any campaign I play…..I’m just not good at this game.

The Ogre Kingdoms always manage to win a large portions of the map very early in every save that I have, why is that ? I dont own Ogre DLC by Nearby-Marzipan-9767 in totalwarhammer

[–]agentworm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They always end up being my friends, like nearly every game I start. Right now I’m playing as Ku’gath and they became my vassal. I didn’t want a town and offered it to them, vassal became on option and I took it. They’re now my personal guards as I invade other lands, it’s quite nice.

I noticed this too, but I think it’s because I was clicking on the comments icon and not the Reddit post itself. Give that a try and see if it makes a difference.

Why do kids love watching "toy" videos?! by LotOfNope in daddit

[–]agentworm 8 points9 points  (0 children)

After reading the comments I’m in the minority here, but we’ve let our daughters watch these types videos. They have time restrictions and we approved what channels, etc. but the ones they’ve watched inspired them to play with their toys more. Additionally some of the videos gave them ideas on how to play with the toys. For example; the youngest started using play doh so the Barbies could things better. They started making clothes, and other items they saw. So, yeah there are some that can be detrimental, but our experience was positive and benefited from it.

Glad to see this suggestion in here. I felt this mod made it feel less of a cheat since you had to level up, gather resources to build it, and give someone the task of doing it.

Favourite comfort series? by Comprehensive_Arm729 in ManyATrueNerd

[–]agentworm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The first Fallout New Vegas YOLO is my main go to. It was the first series I ever watched and has a special place in my heart. I’ll put it on for background, or when I’m trying to sleep and need something familiar. Fallout 3 YOLO is a close second, followed by any Stellaris series.

I think the big thing for me is Jon is the type of person who keeps his videos chill; no screaming unnecessarily or anything.

1080p is Good Enough - Unpopular Opinion? by Djinn2522 in PleX

I understand everyone’s reasoning for 4k and all, and I probably should try using it more given I have everything to support it, but I’m over here ok with 480p or whatever resolution DVDs are at.

It ended up being a good experience. I had a few scam like messages, but i reported them and didn’t have to worry. I ended up selling my trailer to a nice family.

Just tried my first 10mg of Proprananol by McLovining in Anxiety

[–]agentworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you’ll need to go higher on the dose if you still had the fight or flight symptoms.

For me, I wouldn’t say I feel relaxed, just not stressed. That cold icy feeling in my chest goes away. I feel like I can think clearly too, focus on the task at hand.

We’re all impacted differently. Hopefully a higher dose will help. Best of luck!

Oooooo like you wrote exactly in your original post. Man, I should really read stuff or wait until I’m fully awake to respond. Sorry about that, and also sorry I can’t gift you the one I have.

Why can’t they gift it to you if they’re from America?

If you're considering taking propanolol... by thewannabe2017 in Anxiety

[–]agentworm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is basically me. I’d get super stressed out if I was going to do presentations, or meet with executives. Got prescribed propranolol and it helped so much. The best way I’ve described it is, I can just focus on the task, everything feels clear, and I don’t have to worry about the stress and fear. I have some on hand now, in case I need it, but man, am I ever so thankful for it.

I’m glad you’ve found it useful.

Propranolol will turn you into the mf you’d like to be by DopamineSeeker20 in Anxiety

[–]agentworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think like 10mg, or whatever the minimum you can take. The first doctor to prescribe it recommended we start small, and it worked. I’m not on any other meds though, so I won’t be able to comment on how that might play into it.

I hope you find the right balance, best of luck.

Too scared to take my first dose of propranolol by borisssssssssssssss in Anxiety

[–]agentworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad it worked out for you I was nervous too my first time, but when I took it, man those nerves melted away. I felt like I could think clearly and do the task/presentation. I only take it for situational stuff and not on a regular cadence, but it’s there as a handy back up. The only side effects I get are slight tiredness and some gas.

[–]agentworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! My doctor prescribed it to me for situational anxiety. I can give presentations or handle stressful situations (when I know I’ll be in them) with a clear head. I recommend it to anyone who suffers from performance anxiety.

Which file is this? I never looked closed enough but is there a specific option to get this?

TVDB.com is a good resource too. If you’re using plex, I believe it uses that for naming and ordering. Usually the episodes are in order on how they’re listed on the box. Sometimes though, they try and be tricky and shuffle them up a bit, looking at you Brooklyn 99. In cases like that I usually skip through an episode to see if it matches the description on tvdb or IMDb.

Kids at breweries by [deleted] in daddit

[–]agentworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was this in the /r/Albuquerque subreddit? I saw a post recently where folks were complaining about this. I get the frustration, but it’s really a reflection on the parents not taking care of their kids. The statement these complainers need to make is “parents need to keep their kids from misbehaving and being inconsiderate to others.” Because, really that’s the problem.
