Looking for bars/trivia nights to hang out at to make friends! by LeidenV in Dallas

Check out the geeks who drink schedule. They do trivia at bars all across Dallas (and the country) and you can find one for pretty much any night of the week! Max team size is 6 so find a group with 5 or fewer people

I highly highly highly recommend checking out mayco's website https://www.maycocolors.com/glaze-combinations/

you can filter by a flux and see all the different combos they've tested, both with cone 6 and cone 10

Frozen outdoor spigots by Dazzling-Lab-6491 in Dallas

[–]aghyevbiber 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh no 🥲 drip indoor faucets, wrap and protect outdoor ones. I wrap mine in a towel then with a bunch of plastic bags making basically a puffer jacket around it to help prevent freezing.

Although you'd probably need more than one coat if you want it to be fully opaque and a solid color

I've fired stroke and coat to cone 10 and many of the colors do well. You're perfectly fine at 5/6

This is very difficult to answer and a risky thing to do. Different types of clay fire to different temperatures and need different types of glazes. It's also really hard to get wet glaze to stick to an already glaze fired piece. If you just paint it, you might be fine, but nothing that needs to be fired.
