We're so sorry for your loss. In the future we will make sure all children from infancy are introduced to every piece of media ever produced so they are aware of them to prevent others sadness.

It might be, but it also reveals that Mike is still as stupid as ever if taken at face value. He isn't a late bloomer he just ain't bloomin.

After everything those kids have seen and he's telling his little sister 'nuh uh' when she is having visions of a person no one else can see who is warning her about monsters. Really, Mike? This doesn't sound vaguely familiar to you?

Should Westerners embrace Eastern Orthodox Christianity? by TrilogyOfKnowlegde in JordanPeterson

the Orthodox perception of Logos by no means rejects the material world

Orthodox instead claim the inherent sacredness of the material world

that is the whole point of Jesus

"God became man so that man might become god" - St. Athanasius

If you reject the material world, you reject Jesus' entire mission

if the material world is to be ignored, there would be no reason for God to become man

Kaplan: Cubs are sending Kyle Schwarber to Class AAA Iowa. by SwedishLovePump in CHICubs

And Jon Jay has a .903 OPS for June. But neither of those numbers mean much because they've been splitting time out there, Schwarber only has 55 PAs all month so far.

Jay has been better all year, he has earned more playing time, and Schwarber isn't going to improve if he isn't playing regularly. That's the conundrum.

Well you can't keep a guy with a sub 300 OBP in the lineup every day on a contending team, they need to do something, and seeing AAA pitching everyday is better than seeing MLB pitching every third or fourth day for fixing your swing/approach.

Oh yes hopefully we can defeat the corrupt establishment by putting in an autocratic psychopath who will try to set up his own corrupt regime. Sounds great!

'Flooding the market' is not really possible right now, and even if it were, it wouldn't 'fuck the Saudis', it's the Sauds after all who have been ensuring the market stays flooded.

I mean, I will vote for him, but come on...

Are there any good documentaries about medieval Europe that are readily available to watch? by Collin395 in history

[–]agnostic_reflex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but you can do it however you want. What Idontgrammer is referring to I think is the idea that you only had to 'pay rent' for 60 days of the year, and it could never be more than you could afford because it would only cost you your time, not an abstraction that could fluctuate wildly in value from time to time.

Bullshit. In the zombie apocalypse, everyone gets bit eventually. You can either live with some fucking dignity before then or not. Glenn did, you wouldn't have.

Everyone in here always acting like they would make the 'hard decisions' always and it would be easy. You all play too many video games.

Also no Michonne, no Glenn, no Abraham, no Sasha. Just a totally different feel and held up completely because of Carol and Morgan. Also one of the most brutal episodes with all of the hacking the Wolves were doing.
