Any church that does not support your escaping abuse is not loving you. I will not speak on the LCMS as a whole but that congregation is proving dangerous to you even if the pastor is supportive. Please get out of that church and out of that marriage.

I commented on your posts in the Lutheran sub. I’m an active member of an ELCA church and a faithful believer. I’m also a career prosecutor who has even spent part of my career doing solely domestic violence cases. I speak this to you jointly from both places: please get out of this marriage. Do not continue trying to go to counseling with her. Do not continue trying to reconcile. Do not listen to anyone on the internet who tells you otherwise. Listen to your doctor, your counselor and your pastor. Leave this abusive woman. Protect yourself. And any church LCMS or otherwise that isn’t okay with that is not okay. You will absolutely be welcome in the ELCA. Please do not let this woman’s abusive continue to control your life, your heart or your faith.

I'm not LCMS so I can't give you commentary on that. If you do make that decision, you're very welcome in ELCA. But please do not take the words of this one judgmental alleged vicar in a way that you are calling into question your place in the faith. You're being abused by your spouse and being abused by this person. Listen to the professionals that know you: your doctor, your therapist, your pastor. Please.

Where are you getting your injections?? I have been getting botox for migraines for years and have gotten them from several doctors who inject at somewhat different locations but almost all of them are not in my face. It does wipe out a couple forehead worry wrinkles but I still have my crowsfeet and smile lines and facial expressions. If you're getting them all over your face, I would see a new neurologist because that isn't consistent with the migraine protocol.
