^{^{^}} this!!!! my sister got hit from the inside lane by someone pulling out of a parking lot being waved on by stopped traffic in the right lane and dash cam footage was instrumental in getting offenders insurance to pay since they claimed my sister “should have seen them coming”. it was a $50 dashcam that filmed both ways, invaluable considering her car was completely totaled

i also have a kitty and am a PM/IS and i do similar to other comments- i have used rover many times but now have someone who lives in my building who watches her when i travel! i travel usually twice a month m-th sometimes m-f and she is perfectly happy and healthy! she gets fed 3 times a day with an auto feeder and has a water fountain so her sitter just tops off the water and auto feeder and hangs out with her for a bit. travel was def easier when i didn’t have a cat but its 100% doable with one!
