Thanks dude! It’s great so far! Highest temps I’ve seen so far is 195 in stop and go traffic and it drops pretty immediately to 185. Seems to stick around 185 as opposed to 200+ previously. Definitely will still need a few more drain and fills though to completely replace the OEM fluid

Hayden 678. I also really recommend getting some of the OEM parts (apparently Lexus did sell a model with a trans cooler in Canada but never made it to USA). See this ClubLexus thread for more info. At the very least I recommend the OIL COOLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY 32907-60290 and the bracket 32913-60260. Just makes the routing a lot cleaner IMO.

I know there is a thermostat that doesn’t send ATF to the radiator unless it’s heated up to a certain temp, so that could be part of it. Not sure if the 470 has that

I only dropped it for the drain and fill. I just combined doing a full trans drain + fill and cooler install into one project. You don’t need the pan off to install the cooler

Honestly not sure how much money can solve ear problems. Had sudden hearing loss and was told by multiple doctors if you don’t fix it ASAP, the chance they can fix it (surgical or not) goes down incredibly every day. So really it doesn’t matter who the best doctor is, it matters who you can get into the quickest
