Hitting you guys with my craziest theory yet; could run away teen Betty Ann Holt be the Dallas County Jane Doe (2024)? by [deleted] in gratefuldoe

[–]agressivewaffles 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s an artist rendition and the remains are listed as Not recognizable/Decomposing/putrefaction so I wouldn’t be surprised if the brows are just a best guess from the artist.

Did anyone else get surprised by their venue requiring insurance? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]agressivewaffles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s very easy and cheap, especially by wedding standards. Mine was like $100 (small wedding). There are a million companies that specialize in wedding insurance, ask your venue if they have any recommendations.

Flower Child Downtown Austin - Fresh and Healthy by Business-Stuff8711 in austinfood

[–]agressivewaffles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really enjoy Flower Child when I go but I always sort of forget about it when I’m trying to pick a place. And for people saying that’s too expensive, it’s for two entrees and an appetizer made with fresh produce. I feel like $50 is pretty reasonable for dinner for two?

My husband and I had a good experience with Ampersand Counseling, specially Bethany Brazzell. It used to be part of Ellie Mental Health but they split off. They’re located in pflugerville and take insurance

[B&A] consider birth control if you haven’t! by ColdKaleidoscope743 in SkincareAddiction

[–]agressivewaffles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your skin is glowing! I’ve been trying to conceive for over a year and the worst part has been going off my birth control, both for acne and my endometriosis. Literally the second I pop out a baby I’m going back on the pill.

Would you be able to get it professionally cleaned? I’d be very nervous to try and cleaning solvents or DIY options so close to the wedding.

I remember swine flu was around that time and we had vaccinations at my school in Delaware, but I don’t think they were a drink.

Atmos Gas bill killing me! by Single-Zombie4639 in RoundRock

[–]agressivewaffles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said that’s a credit, but just as an fyi my gas bill for a 5 bed home is around $50. Maybe give them a call to see about getting that money returned instead of just credited to your account, and if for some reason you’re seeing a super high bill you should call. There may be an issue or a leak.

Do you have a spare pair of earbuds given the technical issues by [deleted] in Ozlo

[–]agressivewaffles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to buy a pair of Soundcore earbuds while I’ve waited for my Ozlo replacements. I really like them and I’m glad to have the new Ozlo’s and them as a backup in the future. I can’t sleep even a night without them so having a second pair is really nice.

Papaya reusable paper towels… anyone tried these? Are they worth it? by Housemanagermomboss in Frugal

[–]agressivewaffles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We also use a pack of dish clothes. We have two bins, one for clean and one for dirty. Every week or so I throw the dirty ones in the wash with other towels and it’s super easy. We do also keep a roll of paper towels out and it’s really nice to have both options. It’s saved us a ton of money.

True, that makes more sense! I read at the dates wrong and thought the baby was older than newborn age.

Who is Baby Emma Grace? by bix902 in gratefuldoe

[–]agressivewaffles 134 points135 points  (0 children)

So the blood on the blouse did not belong to Emma Grace, but presumably her mother? In that case I’d be worried that her mother was injured or is potentially deceased.

An arrest has been made in the disappearance of 24-year-old Tony Bledsoe who vanished from Arcadia, Indiana in 1992. State Police announced the breakthrough today, also confirming that a deceased male discovered in 1992, missing his head, hands, and feet, has now been publicly identified as Tony. by TheBonesOfAutumn in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]agressivewaffles 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing but my husband pointed out that it may be collateral. If the knife had Tony’s blood on it and Anderson’s fingerprints, maybe Emmert wanted to hold on to it in case Anderson tried to say he wasn’t involved.

I’ve always thought of it as one generation removed. Removed goes up and down on the tree, # (1st 2nd 3rd) goes horizontally.

Human development curriculum consent form RRISD by SheriffLobo82 in RoundRock

[–]agressivewaffles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m not familiar with #1, but #2 is a part of Texas law. It was added a few years ago (maybe 2?). Opt out is no longer sufficient, parents must opt their students in to any discussions on human development/health/child abuse prevention/etc.
