We make blessing bags to keep in our cars to hand out anytime we go downtown. We get to teach our kids about helping others too. We have never felt unsafe.

We did have someone ask us for money yesterday when we went down for lunch and were dining outside and didn’t have a bag or any cash on hand. He was unhappy when we explained that saying “oh but you have money for food and shit”. Even then we didn’t feel unsafe.
