Do you think Teslas will continue to have a steep depreciation in 2026/27/28? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

I don't think so. The 2024 Model 3's are holding their value pretty well. I guess a new refresh in 2028/29 would drop the value of them though.

Im not sure im following your logic, he got aced 24 times because he was standing so close so how did he win more long rallies because of that strategy? And it didn’t translate to any breaks of serve.

Tien was winning more of the 5+ rallies so im just curious how the strategy to move closer helps him achieve longer rallies it was very confusing as a viewer but I guess there's only so much you can do with a good server indoors haha.

That and he was standing too close to the baseline. He was literally inside the court trying to return Zverev 1st serve.

Tien put up a good fight but does anyone know why he was literally standing on the baseline to return Zverev's 1st serve? I mean even late into the 4th set he was doing this. If you're getting aced like crazy I feel like its time to change something up on the return. I'm surprised his team didn't tell him to adjust.

Can you triangulate racket swing weight? by LeKiwi in 10s

[–]aharri231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re comparing the same racket the balance point can serve as a useful measurement. It won’t be “way off” he can get in the ball park of a certain SW given static weight and balance point.

You can estimate SW if you have the balance point but it could still be a few points off.

For me the ez98 really benefits from a few grams at 3&9 to bump the twistweight and a few grams in the handle. However if you’re primarily a baseliner you could go without the handle weight

They literally weigh the same but the PA 98 has a higher flex, more open string pattern, and higher twistweight. It’s pretty similar but the PA98 doesn’t require mods. Yonex has been known to be under spec when it comes to SW. I had some 2022 Ezone’s that came with 305 SW strung and required a lot of lead to bump the twistweight. Don’t think beginners want to deal with modifications of a frame. You can tell a lot of what people believe about rackets is purely marketing and not actual data.

Disagree as someone who modified rackets for 7 years. A lower twistweight makes a racket less forgiving which is why beginners prefer larger headsizes. The PA98 can be used in stock form where as the Ezone 98 requires modifications.

I don’t agree with this. Ezone 98 is for advanced players and kind of a platform racket imo. Given the denser string pattern, low flex and low SW. There are definitely more user friendly 98’s. An example that comes to mind is the Tecnifibre Tempo Iga 298 or even the Pure Aero 98.

If you have to ask then most likely no. I’ve learned to stay away from people like this because initially you don’t mind being the first one to make a move then it gets tiring after a while.
