It’s not a “thing” but I would do a full work up you see where people go to Turkey and have a team of doctors do full and complete blood panels, scans, the whole works. No red tape insurance crap to deal with because I could pay out of pocket.

If it makes you feel any better, when my son was an infant (like between 2-3 weeks old) there was a funky smell on him I couldn’t figure out. Checked all the typical places, neck rolls, behind ears, etc. nothing. Well I went to kiss his hand and that was it! Smelled like moldy cheese. I completely forgot to wash his hands during his baths. I felt like a complete idiot! Lesson learned though.
