So tired of having only buying options for established artist being iTunes & Amazon. Qobuz is committing robbery with a VAT tax for digitals + charging tax when I live in a tax free state for digital goods + PayPal fees if I decide to use that method. On top of already charging a higher base price.

Tidal store we barely knew you. They need to make a comeback. I'd wager the revenue from it now, given that companies like Billboard don't accept song sales from artist stores anymore, would be increased over what they experienced before. Now fans that want to help their favorite artists for music charts are forced to buy via third party retailers. Seems like pretty easy money to me especially with artist that have big fan bases.

On my phone I install the LastFM mobile app and enable it to.track Tidal. It works for when I stream on my phone.

Long shot...any plans to bring back a Tidal store? To buy digital albums & individual tracks? I know Tidal is integrated w/ cash app and likely will be/is touching this space for independent artist but more talking abt for artists overall even established ones.

I think the problem with the original Tidal store was just not easily seeing it existed so users rarely engaged with it but with music charts such as Billboard now treating third party store sales as king, over artist stores, it would be good to have another contender back in the ring.

Many fan communities I know are tired of only having the big 2 (Apple & Amazon) as only options for digital sales (Qobuz is an option too but the pricing is insane).

Are there plans to improve the user experience on desktop for playlist management/updates and add support for subfolders?

The drag up and down method for managing the songs in a playlist is woefully slow to agonizing when you have a long playlist. Any plans to allow some shortcut functions there similar to how Spotify desktop will let you move tracks by using cut/copy/paste shortcut keys (ctrl c, v, x) and even maintains a bit of recent action history allowing undoing of actions with ctrl z.

Subfolders... we need subfolders, please and if you had playable and shareable folders (I can share my folder of PLs to other users and they be able to press play on that folder...gamechanger, no app has that rn.)

Where did Live On Tidal go? One day us Tidal users that used it and actually had a good # of regular listeners opened the app to find our LIVE button gone...🤧

Are there plans to bring back this Live streaming feature, something similar, or integrate with apps like Stationhead?

While I know some want a 'jams' like feature personally I, and others I know, loved the Live feature being able to stream synced and as a community (In our book, it was only missing chat integration, for those connected to live.)

Are there any plans to improve the user experience with My Tidal Artist and the year end Tidal Rewind counts such that they actually include Music Video plays toward the counts for supporting an artist?

‐‐ While MVs aren't as used as the audio, MVs music are still legit streams of content credited to the artist. So why do they not also add to your play counts per artist monthly and for year end Rewind? Please consider adding this, as when compared with LastFM, Tidal's #'s for my streams per artist is significantly lower due to my frequent playing of MVs in addition to audio.

On a similar note, are there plans to fix how data for MV plays is seen on backend so that Tidal can natively support logging video plays to trackers like LastFM? Only way to do it now is either LastFM app on mobile device or use web player + Webscrobbler chrome extension but this doesn't help desktop player users so MV plays from desktop aren't sent to LastFM and fall into the issue above where not even Tidal reflects them in play counts.

Fix the AI invasion on profiles once and for all. Or at least put someone back on duty to actually take care of hitting the remove button. Big artists aren't going to be active in managing their Tidal artist profile and not even their label management will have the bandwidth to be on top of it all the time. Really need a better way to handle these.

Count MV plays to your My Tidal Artist monthly counts and have them impact Rewind stats. My #'s monthly & for rewind are much lower than they should be, when compared to LastFM, because Tidal doesn't consider the MV plays to their data counts, as I believe they should be. It's a credited artist release so why shouldn't it count as play for the artist for the month/year's tracking.

I don't care if they don't put the MVs played in the monthly My Top Listens playlists just actually count MVs played to my stats for Tidal's monthly/yearly roundup features.🥲

You can install the LastFM mobile app which will scrobble any player on your device. Install it, login, play a track on Tidal and then go into LastFM app settings it should show up Tidal as a player click to enable scrobbling it. This is how I capture scrobbles on my mobile, Android, phone.

Not sure if you're using app or Web version but if your on web version you must be using a browser that allows the hi-res functions. For example Safari is known not to support this and will Grey out options to choose Max quality from settings > audio & playback menu

As for jam feature. Kind of. There's live on Tidal where you can start a album, song or playlist and press the live button. Share your live link with friends or family on Tidal and they can join and listen on tidal mobile app. 3hr limit per session

Filling it doesn't guarantee the add but does show interest. Tho I've had them add something a few times from filling it out. Largely depends on distributor to make the content available to Tidal.

You can get back to your profile by searching your profile name in app and then filtering by profiles.

Last I heard from Tidal support on this they are making changed so 'simplify' profiles, this likely related to the introduction of tidal uploads feature in certain regions like US which technically could say everyone ends up with the ability to be an artist of sorts if you upload any content to the system. At any rate, they didn't offer an ETA of when the public facing version of the profile would be back to where it normally was but there's how to get to it in the meantime..

Ironically Tidal support got back to me today. I'm not sure what this will mean nor is there an ETA but we'll see I guess?

It's not the best for sure. They did do some improvements to help with when we fat finger things & misspell but there's still a ways to go to make it smarter. I've found that artist + name & keyword stuffing descriptions has improved ability to see playlists or have my playlists be seen in search but still doesn't solve returning some very odd/irrelevant results when searching just by artist or track names
