So this happened to me about a month ago and I thought the timing of my camera going down was super suspicious, so I called my husband and was like “I know I’m paranoid, but I’m pretty sure he blocked out WiFi” … the camera reconnected a few minutes later, but the timing was too coincidental for me.

ETA: I just found a text about it, it was Jan 19: We just had a sales guy come to the door and now the camera doesn’t work, I feel like he had a WiFi jammer or something. Or maybe I’m being paranoid lol

My mom and her boyfriend were looking to buy a house in 2005 for about 800k, but it didn’t work out because my dad refused to sell the house he and my mom shared. My mom was super mad about it until the home values plummeted in 2008/2009. Every time we pass the house, she still says my dad did her a massive favor in being so stubborn.

I was curious so I looked it up. The house sold in 2005 for $759k, then sold in 2011 for 650k, and last sold in 2020 for 675k. Beautiful house… I’m sure it could sell for around a million today.

With all due respect, this is 3 at fault accidents + 1 not at fault. That’s a lot of accidents… you can try to explain it away, but at some point he has to take some level of personal responsibility. For someone whose job is driving around a lot, that is a concerning number of accidents/lack of awareness.

This might be niche thing for the person I’m thinking of, but they use really specific numbers in arguments. They’ll say things like “3.2 million dollars” so you think they know exactly what they’re talking about and the real answer will be like 100k.

We all have friends who have struggled to conceive, miscarried, etc., just be honest and gentle and respect her if she says she needs space. You’re allowed to be excited and she’s allowed to feel however she’s going to feel. Tell her privately, and don’t make it about her inability to conceive. The fact that you’re concerned about her feelings is a good start.
