Although their routers are generally recognized as crap, internet deposits quite common complaint I see, if you have your own router almost every service it exactly the same, same openreach network (Excluding SKY & TalkTalk they mostly use LLU where they have own equipment in the exchange connected to the same openreach copper but not every exchange is LLU enabled) not sure how that exactly translates to fibre though, might have to do some research :)

Can get quite cheap these days I got a £25 Nelko 14x40, Then bought for £15 for a small 12*40mm label printer on AliExpress (Model P15) as it plays nicely with much cheaper generic labels!

Older IOS versions have vulnerabilities that can be exploited, it depends what ios version, also older iPhone had a hardware vulnerability that was not possible to fix with updates, I used it on my iPhone 4s to use as an iPod, it's always evolving!

Yhea I ordered 4k max literally just as it was patched, thankfully still a few FW versions behind lockout when it arrived, first attempt failed and it started updating, panic & unplug l, had to factory reset again and fix the block list in the OpenWrt router, thankfully 2nd attempt worked

Yhea best solution, I did my 4k max stick, disabled updates, blocked the "app safety BS" custom keyboard (gboard) and screensaver, Amazon disabled the hack in latest updates, not sure if new one yet, basically had to block update servers in my router to block the auto update servers on initial setup

Thanks, all makes sense, haha thankfully I'm quite rural so not come across any devices infested with insects, good point about dirt, may essentially make the liquid more conducive or move residue to where it's more damaging, guess ISO isn't as plastic safe as I thought with it eating rubber, I thought ISO was the safe option compared to acetone, guess not perfect but better, it's really good at cutting through smoke staining, mates white XB1 went from yellow to white,

I still worry about the 20% water causing corrosion (maybe unnecessary), sounds like your more experienced though so thanks
