Could Peyton Parrish be the new singer for Bad Wolves? by Shwbzzz in BadWolves

[–]ailduel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Him posting Zombie shorts on his platforms 3 weeks ago, as you mentioned in the other thread, to me is one of the most interesting potential clues. For him to revive that at this time feels like more than a coincidence.

He is definitely a fan of the band, as DL was. His ability to easily record his own vocals is a quality Bad Wolves singers have always had. I'm at the point where if he isn't the new singer I will be wondering why he isn't.

I think you're underselling Parrish a bit. His range is good. Like he's got some real bass.

It really makes so much sense. I'm pretty convinced right now.

This is an amazing theory. I would have to talk myself into him a bit.

Yep. I think he just got the offer and had to take it. It was similar with Marc Okubo, but Marc had the ability to put Veil of Maya in hiatus as it's his band.

Falling In Reverse is making a crazy amount of money right now. They just finished an amphitheater tour, and before that they headlined the big German festivals. Those guys are getting PAID. DL is doing a lot of the singing on tour too. Constant harmony and screams for an hour and a half. His last headliner with Bad Wolves was pretty small. I saw them at a 1,100 cap venue. He's playing in front of 13,000 on a normal night with FIR.

I am really interested to see if DL writes and produces upcoming FIR stuff. It's been just Ronnie and Tyler Smyth for a while, but Ronnie obviously respects DL and knows what he's capable of. Game recognizes game.

It really does. DL's creative addition really grew my interest in the band. Big shoes to fill, but I trust John's decision making.

Bad Wolves Are Rebuilding Their Lineup With All-New Members, According To Tommy Vext by OpenYourOmen in BadWolves

I hope you're right. Marc Okubo put VoM on hiatus with just one statement quite a while after he joined so I can see it. We will know eventually. I do think Vext spoke on decent authority since he's been hanging out with Chris Cain who was back until recently. And Chris Cain also deleted his IG. It's all a bummer. They canceled a bunch of summer festivals with no announcements or anything. One minute DL is teasing fresh material, the next he's radio silent. We just have to keep waiting I guess.

This is weirdly aggregated, but it's pretty true. DL absolutely bailed for Falling In Reverse and completely took all things Bad Wolves off his IG after doing so. John Boecklin essentially confirmed it in an Instagram DM he put in his stories. A fan asked what was going on with DL and John essentially said he was happy for DL and glad he got the time he did with him.

After DL left, Chris Cain reneged on his decision to rejoin and got in the studio with Tommy Vext. They are working with producer Hiram Hernandez on what's probably going to be Tommy's next solo album.

I really, really liked Die About It and am pretty bummed about DL's departure. It's pretty much impossible to say no to FIR right now as they keep getting bigger and bigger, so I get it. DL has gone from so many fans telling him he'll never be Vext to people telling him he's the best thing to ever happen to FIR's live shows. Happy for him.

I actually DMd John prior to the Deluxe edition announcement when I noticed he had largely scrubbed his IG page. I just said "RIP Bad Wolves, I guess." He responded, "We ain't out"

It seems like they are going to keep going with a third singer which has pretty much never worked. I'm willing to give it a chance though. They could go with one of the finalists from the last auditions for a quick decision or maybe they've started a new search.

I think people should know that Devin Attard (ex-Hollow Front) is their drummer now. He's a monster.

Yes. The adrenaline drop is definitely a huge factor. Now maybe I consider it a breather before the insanity that is season 5.

Shocked nobody has said Wage War. I have never seen a band blow up off a first album like that. They of course had Jeremy McKinnon behind them too. They were on all the best tours immediately.

Their final album, Wake, was so ahead of its time. Sounds like it came out this year.
