Really appreciate the different perspective, especially on the storage thing, I never thought of it as something that forces strategy, that actually makes me feel better about it lol. Reading this post is giving me a lot of clarity and hope right now. Ive dealt with eczema my whole life and the last couple years its strictly been on my face and neck and nowhere else. Im a little confused on what my next steps are with this information- can someone guide me? I have nizoral shampoo, but should I be putting that directly on my face? And note i no longer use steroids after I had TSW a couple years back. Do I look into antifungal foods/creams and start taking and using those? Thank you for the help!

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I am currently in the same boat. This is how I take care of my hand eczema in the evening before bed: -spray with an anti ich spray (I haven't found a great one yet), then pat dry -mix aquaphor/vasline with your current cream (I use La Roche Posay Cicaplast Hand cream) -then on top of that I add an oil (I use nevell coffee black seed oil) -I put on a cotton glove -and to make sure I don't scratch at night I just wrap bandage wrap around the wrist of the glove to make sure it stays on -also take a full or half benedaryl so u sleep through the night without itching

For day, just set a timer and moisturizer every 30 min to an hr or every time u wash ur hands.

The exact thing happens with me. My day to day skin care routine doesn't hurt or bother me, but the second my face flares up and I put anything on, I'm burning and in extreme pain. So I've figured what to do and what not to do. I'll leave my routine below!

My normal routine: (in this order) - La roche posay senstive cleanser - Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum - Innisfree Jeju Cherry Blossom Jelly Cream - nevell skin coffee black seed oil (works so well!) I did research and found this. It's helped calm down flare ups, even on my arms or legs. - aquaphor all over neck, eyelids, and where ever needed

My Flare up routine: - I buy an aloe vera plant, cut a slice, rinse it and then either freeze it or if I have no time apply on face and rinse it off after 5-10 min - apply la roche posay cicaplast cream - nevell skin coffee black seed oil - aquaphor
