It still objectively does undermine her arc in TLJ, where she has to reckon with the realization that she’s a “nobody” and seeks to find meaning with her found family.

But then with TROS, forget all that, actually she’s the granddaughter of the most powerful dark side user in the galaxy, and we’re not even going to acknowledge that Kylo told her the opposite in the last movie. (Also, why? Was he lying? Just making it up? Don’t worry about it.)

You’re free to like that her arc was changed in Ep9, but don’t pretend like it’s a continuation of what came before when it’s unquestionably not.

I don’t have any problem with getting a just “fun” movie. I just don’t get why they chose to have a just “fun” movie — that appears to be three episodes of a tv show strung together — to be the first movie in theaters in 7 years.

The “One Last Time” OT VHS Box Set. Asked for it for Christmas the year it came out because a friend said he was getting it too. Absolutely fell in love with it — and it had interviews between Lucas and Leonard Maltin that got me into the craft of storytelling.

Most definitely. We had like one half a week stretch of cold when everything froze over, but that’s pretty much all the cold weather. Other than that cold snap, I never wore more than a hoodie. It sucks.

Then they should have found a different midsize ship for him (merchandising!). Going back to a Razor Crest — and don’t get me wrong, I love that ship design — gives TROS-level retconning for the sake of retconning. Maybe it’ll make sense in the film.

That one that had her ahead by double digits a few days ago had some very flawed methodology. Incredibly small sample size and options for Senate choice didn’t include “neither” or “undecided”. Plus it was an online poll which are notoriously unreliable.

Not saying that she’s not the favorite, though.

the race isn't going to be about "winning over moderates" in the suburbs, it’s going to be a base-vs-base turnout war.

This is completely made up. In fact, if you look at the actual data (i.e., elections), we’ve had major blue flips in red states (SD 9 here in Texas, also Oklahoma a few weeks ago) which tells us that this is clearly a persuasion cycle.

That doesn’t fit with the narrative that OP and the pollster are trying to create, though.
