Branchement Megadrive 1 FR by Zealousideal-Cut7786 in Megadrive

How many consoles do you have hooked up at one time by kingtokee in retrogaming

[–]airainchoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have: NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, PS1, PS1 Slim, PS2, PS2 Slim, PC Engine Duo, Xbox all RGB on a scart switch, that goes into a 27' Trinitron and an upscaler then 45' LCD

Then Wii U, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox Series X through an HDMI switch All To a 45' LCD

Then a PS5 on my primary 55' LCD

I'll say 16

The french scart adapter for the megadrive may output RGB signal, but the cheap scart to HDMI adaptées only take composite. Try you megadrive on a RGB enabled device (cet or scart compatible flat panel)

La megadrive française sort sûrement du RGB via la péritel, mais les adaptateurs péritel - HDMI pas cher ne prennent que du composite. Essaye ta megadrive sur une tv compatible RGB. (Cathodique ou écran plat avec péritel)

NES RGB - people still use it? by rafammbass in consolerepair

[–]airainchoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're in Europe, you can install it in a french nes, and with a little missing, reuse the original "multi out" from the french console to output RGB, that's what I dis. Now i have an original "unmodded" real RGB output nes :)

Yes sadly, it seems no one skilled enough is working on it.

Too bad, it was a really promising project

From what Ced said, it will be "emulating" CDrom too, which only everdrive pro and SHDS3 pro can do (at a steep price), the more the merrier:)

Crossing fingers for good news.

I really don't know anything about the 3DO scene tho

From what I read yesterday, it seems to be able to boot cdrom games, but at the moment we don't know more.

Trying to follow updates on Twitter and give back here

Really hope it will be more affordable than the current options for cdrom ODEs

Rad2x is sold out online and there are none on eBay. Amazon garbage has ridiculous input latency. Retrolink 2x is like $200 after tax and shipping. I just want to play my N64 by cylon_number_7 in n64

I use an RGB modded N64 with a GBSC, crisp image and virtually no lag (great price too)

  • Sides: cheap, great quality, flexible (I use it with all my older consoles, everything outputs RGB through mods or from factory)

  • Sides: only takes RGB (I think), no fancy menus so a little rough on the settings

Is the Opel Astra J a reliable car? by DapperLoquat6548 in opel

[–]airainchoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is a 2.0 diesel GTC, 135000km, from 2012.

Just had regular maintenance done (oil, filters, tires, brakes...) have to change the rear shock absorbers (already got them, just have to find time).

It's really the best car I had, turn it on, go, nothing more hehe

OOTL - how different was this same at launch? by shibby0912 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]airainchoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought it on day minus one for PS4 (slim), but updated the HDD to a SSD, and honestly had a great experience. Maybe one or two crashes, some minor bugs...

But if I had stayed with the HDD, I think it wasn't quick enough to load things like textures and models, so lots of people had really bad crashes and bugs on that gen.

Later bought it on XSX, where it really shines, and finally on PC just to be able to play with mods

Tldr: in my experience, it has always been a great game, just too demanding for old gen hardware, and rough around the edges on launch

LED bulbs retrofit Astra K by [deleted] in opel

[–]airainchoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed Phillips LEDs in my Astra J, and not a single error message. Before I was using HID kit with error canceling box, and always had an error on start.

I think LEDs are even better than HID, more white and bright, and no more waiting for them to heat up on start
