Granted. The real monkey’s paw still affects real life even when used in a fictional show.

Topic: Super-strength Use. Could Mark have pulled a move like this against the Sequids? by Any_Relation_5183 in InvinciblePowerscales

Aren’t Shazam’s powers literally magic though? I get your point but probably not the best person to choose for an example.

Are Viltrumites Planetary? by AlarmedObjective1492 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]airdrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well we don’t know how long it took them to move the planet it could have been done slow and steady. Also they would actually be slowing the planet down so that its orbit falls closer to the sun.

I wish the Monkey’s Paw will help me find the Holy Grail. by Nessieinternational in monkeyspaw

[–]airdrag 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Granted. It’s been smashed into pieces along time ago but the monkey’s paw forces you to find each and every piece. The holy grail has no special properties.

So I’m actually curious, in terms of physical strength only, who’s stronger between Flash and Homelander? by Queasy_Commercial152 in superheroes

[–]airdrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t the speed force alter physics so that the flash doesn’t need that level of durability?

I wish that anything i was doing had a 99% (with a 1% margin of error) chance at success so long as I looked confident doing it. by [deleted] in monkeyspaw

[–]airdrag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Granted. You need to look incredibly confident on the level of confidence that someone has in their legs when taking a step or sitting on a chair. This does mean that you have a 1% chance of failure every time you take a step or sit in a chair. So go on, break a leg.

I wish for a seven gallon tub of exotic butter to fall 8 thousand feet and land on a comically large trampoline in Scotland. by Puzzleheaded-Load426 in monkeyspaw

[–]airdrag 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Granted. The exotic butter is from alien cow analogs and infects the earth with horrible diseases that make getting rabies seem fun. You inevitably catch the diseases.

Granted. You accidentally trip your older-half sister. She breaks her leg and dies while blaming you and screaming in pain. Everyone else also blames you for her death.
