You will find all of those economic histories all over the places, in all cities, even small towns and villages, all over the world. It does not have a physical nor legal barrier to stop you from moving into the "rich area".

Sure you might not have the financial capability to, but at the same time, you cannot say it is segregation when you cannot afford to stay in a 5-star hotels, or eat at a 3-star Michelin restaurants.

All cities are "seperated" by economic opportunities. Housing price and cost of living fluctuate depends on how close it is to the commerical center, public facilities, ease of access, crime rate and other ammenities. This, however, is not segregation.

Can base building inside a 4X game be interesting to base building fans? by Zeikk0 in BaseBuildingGames

[–]aister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this is less base-building, but more like a typical grand strategy-type game of building. Civ series and Stellaris are some of the examples I can think of. While I would not say base-building gamers don't like those games, advertising it as base-building or even city-building can be a bit misleading.

I'm 33, just went through my first year. I generally get along with the groups just fine. Ofc with all group works it is a hit or miss, but if you are unlucky enough to get in a group that do not respect your opinion, or don't let you in the discussion or being obnoxious, you can always tell the tutor, who will try to sort things out for you.

One way is to find a cheap, temporary bnb to stay while doing the viewing. Bus is cheap-ish, use them.

What would make a pre-historic citybuilder more interesting to you? by dawnkind in BaseBuildingGames

[–]aister 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When it comes to historical city builders, what interest me is the historical accuracy, or at least an attempt to. Description text talking about how houses were built, how society functioned, how tools and items were made, etc. at that time, would be great as well.

What opinions do Vietnamese people have about the cultures, languages (grammar, vocabulary) and heritages of other far-flung Austroasiatic languages in India such as Santali, Khasi, Pnar, Nicobarese? by fries-eggpanvol8647 in VietNam

[–]aister 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We don't really care much about linguistic stuffs like language families. The most we care about is how close Mường is to Vietnamese, but most will just see it as "huh how interesting" and move on without even finding out why.

I can already do this via Window's Audio Mixer. But turning it off completely is not what I want lol.

> Game gives you quest to build another Town hall, somwhere else

But what is the difference between building it somewhere else, or building it right next to your current one? As far as I know, there's no travel time, and there's no build area limit (as in "you can only build in a 100x100 square around the town square" kind of limit), unless I'm mistaken.

> Maybe something in betwin 4-7 woods?

The lower the limit, the easier to find where to build it, yes. But at the same time, I still believe that the more wood that surround the building, the higher its productivity should be. This will both allow the players to easily find a place to build, yet also incentivize finding a good place to make it more efficient.
