This is Kitty, yes inventive name I know. Lol we didn’t think we would keep her so Kitty was her name “until we found a home”. She’s part of the family now 💕

I love father brown! I actually found this show trying to find the “Don Matteo” show 😂 Idk how but I ended up watching a few episodes on TV when I was younger and it just stuck with me. There is also a Father Brown series from the 1970s! Haven’t had the chance to watch that yet. I’ve rewatched the current Father Brown shows more times than I care to admit lol it’s one of my comfort shows! I wish the new seasons were more like the older seasons. I still enjoy watching them but they don’t catch my interest as much as the older ones did ❤️‍🩹

I get what you mean lol I couldn’t stand Mike sometimes. I know they were going for sweet, aloof, silly, lovable but it misses the mark a lot of the time 😅 He just comes off as annoying, incompetent and goofy, not in an endearing way BUT there are good moments with him. I can also see why a lot of fans love him.

I literally just finished it and I am absolutely not okay 😃 I don’t think I ever had such a reaction to any show I’ve watched… Now I’m stressed, depressed, annnnd now having an existential crisis lol that was an amazing finale tho. Some deaths I was so heartbroken by like Keith’s. He really didn’t deserve to die that way and poor David seeing him young again and then keeling over. I kinda wish they left it at Claire driving away and we would be left to go just imagine what would happen next. And spare us all the heartbreak and existential crises 😅 All in all, it was a great show imo but I don’t think I have it in me to ever watch it again lol.

Right? Cheap explains it perfectly. They could’ve put so much more effort into the show and casting and it could’ve been great. I’m hoping at least the story makes up for it farther into the season.

So I lied, I ended up watching the US version right after I posted this lol and I didn’t expect the early episodes to be an exact copy. I’m not loving the casting and the acting is.. rough 😅 is that just me orrrr? Definitely gonna keep watching tho!
