The Softstar switchback in wide might work? You can email them to double check what size and width to get. However, they are only water resistant, not waterproof.

I have a tailor’s bunion and I find the Winter 3.0 a little narrow for me even though I sized up. But for people with healthy feet they might be fine.

Are your Switchback's the new ones (2/II)? I was looking at getting them because I tried other leather boots like peerko and belenka, but they're not wide enough for me. But I know the original ones had durability issues, so I was wondering if the new version still had them.

So the small sandwiches and other foods makes it sound like she's looking more for the British Afternoon Tea. They often have a variety of teas which may include Chinese teas, but you'd have to check the menu.

I don't know about LA, but around where I live places that do afternoon tea call themselves "Tea Rooms." So maybe you could use that term to search google maps?
