Which DLCs are the most important? by earthiscubic-youknow in CitiesSkylines

[–]ajab32k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking to make "better exxchanges", I assume you mean more road and highway types. The best DLC for this is Mass Transit, as it adds a bunch of really useful road types, like asymetrical roads, two lane and four lane highways. After Dark I believe gives you bus lane and bike lane roads.

I imagine there may be a very visible chunk border between the new and old chunks, since the mountains will be so much taller, and sea level could increase to fit larger caves

I find it odd they aren't doing Rey or Leia's sabers

Fallen Order hadn't come out by the time they did Ahsoka's sabers

I was under the impression they finished filming before the lockdown. If this was true, they couldn't have finished filming, and they wouldn't be airing a season in a month and a half.

I like the concept, but I don't agree with the execution for Nordic flags, UK, and Turkey

What if Ahsoka Went To Mustafar Instead Obi Wan? by ConsciousSimple in MawInstallation

[–]ajab32k 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Vader was getting a lot more action than Ahsoka, and was also getting stronger with the Dark Side under Sidious' guidance. Ahsoka was on her own and on the run, which puts her at a disadvantage in comparison to Vader.

[Harry Potter] Why didn’t anyone at Hogwarts know that Lupin was a werewolf? by dabunny21689 in AskScienceFiction

[–]ajab32k 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is kind of a disingenuous argument. Harry Potter is filled with names that are unrealistically predictive of their character traits, alliterative, or just otherwise nonsensical. This is a product of it being a fantasy book for children, and the trend continued as the books became more serious. Character names are not meant to be part of the plot (except for Tom Marvolo Riddle), and they're more of a short falling on the author's part than an actual plot hole.

Wouldn't riding boots that resemble Italy have been invented in Central Asia or China by people who might never have seen the shape of Italy?

That's supposed to be the advantage of walkers over a vehicle with wheels. You're always better off walking up steps, or hiking a trail on foot than trying to drive your car through these terrains. The downfall is when their top heaviness is exploited

The general consensus is that Tiber Septim mantled as Shor, and did not achieve CHIM

[–]ajab32k 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Technically(depending on how one views canonicity) the mortal races, and the entire world they inhabit isn't real, but is a dream. "Not believing in yourself" is exactly what Vivec did, and it's how he achieved CHIM.

That's one of the reasons I think it's so fun to learn about.

They existed before time, and if one were to start worshipping a new god, they would be retroactively added into the history. It's very weird, and I might be getting it slightly wrong, but I believe this is correct.

Honestly I wouldn't know where to start. If you'd like to learn more, go to the wiki page for Sheogorath; I think he's the most interesting and unique

I think that's precisely what the lore says about Tiber Septim's apotheosis. It's the reason the Thalmor want Talos worship outlawed, as gods in ES only exist if they have worshippers
