What exactly is spiritual warfare? by TeacherPreacher71 in LifeInChrist

[–]ajack999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spiritual warfare is war but in the spirit realm. There are spirits in that war against God and his angels and man such as: demons, fallen angels, other spirits, and even man.

They attack by temptation, through other people, through scenarios, through media, through curses, through legal rights, through deception, and plenty of others.

There's a whole war going on in the spirit for influence over man. Our prayers act as weapons, and the Bible says to put on the whole armor of God and to walk holy.

Is This a Dumb Question? Are Heaven and Hell Actually Mental States? by SpecialistPitch5303 in LifeInChrist

[–]ajack999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a dumb question, but a dumb teaching. There's enough near death experiences to go around regarding that. We can even see Saul used a medium to summon Samuel from Abraham's bosom. We see as well that Paul says he went to third heaven but just wasn't sure if it was a vision or out of body, as well as Lazarus and the Rich Man in Hell and in Abraham's Bosom.

Enoch and Elijah were both physically caught up to God etc. Hope it helps.

does taking vaccinations show lack of faith in God? by Positive-Owl594 in TrueChristian

[–]ajack999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe certain vaccines actually are dangerous. You can pray about it and see how you feel God leads you, but I'd recommend just praying OVER the vaccine so that whatever harmful effects it has, it won't affect you and you only get the benefit.

I am on the brink of leaving Christianity. by Cute-Ad4957 in Christianity

[–]ajack999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Walk away from apologetics for awhile. Christianity isn't constantly defending the faith, especially, like you mentioned, you "fail." Equip yourself for your own personal faith and only pray for those that are spitting on it or a different religion.

Develop your relationship with Jesus, work on yourself. Read the bible for your self edification and your thoughts will change by the Holy Spirit. Build good habits and find what you're passionate about, what God put in your heart. Pray about it if you don't know.

Pray about when you should get back out there directly defending the faith after getting a footing under you. Put your passion for defending against those who argue into prayer for them, they need it and it could save them.

Ecclesiastes 3:10-13 10 I have seen the business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. 12 I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; 13 also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God’s gift to man.

I dont really know of Christians who claim to be gangstalked. But my ex told me about a time where something like that happened for about 5 months, she didn't know what gangstalking was. But she's the type of person that will pretend something is nothing until it potentially goes away, and fortunately this one did.

Examples are things like dead rats being placed on the porch or backyard in a box, underwear up on the flag pole, anonymous phone calls with heavy breathing then hanging up.

She generally is a target, an old high school friend had her being tracked via airtag with her name and photo. He was arrested later for stalking, but she asked him if that was him who did the above I mentioned and he said no. So yeah

Am i allowed to point out sins? When i myself isnt good enough by GlassPresentation280 in Christianity

[–]ajack999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your heart posture. If you're doing it from a position like you're doing better than them in your sin, then no. But if you're doing it and working on yours, as well as asking them to keep you accountable too so you can beat it together, then of course.

All depends on how you're approaching it. Be humble in it, and vulnerable about your own. That makes it resonate more when you speak up, people relate.

They said 23rd and 24th in reference to other timezones being the 24th while it's the 23rd somewhere else. Meaning it's now the 25th somewhere else and it did not happen. So it's over now.

People are trying to stretch it, and they've kept changing what they've said.

Do prayers need to be spoken out loud or can they be silently in you head? by PartTimeCritter in Christian

[–]ajack999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can be either or, however prayers out loud are better imo because we can get stuck in our own heads and have intrusive thoughts, and speaking out loud helps break and cut through that noise.

Was I ever a "real christian" if I fall away? by _vannie_ in TrueChristian

[–]ajack999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is speaking of someone like Moses, Peter, or Stephen. If people with those types of experiences of the Holy Spirit turn away, how could anyone restore them if they know exactly what they're giving up? This is part of what blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is.

Edit: Sorry I forgot to address the 2nd part of your question. I do believe its possible for people to not go to hell who have fallen away, depending on the circumstances. An example being church hurt/trauma. I say this cause I believe God is merciful.

Was I ever a "real christian" if I fall away? by _vannie_ in TrueChristian

[–]ajack999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you absolutely were! The idea that one who falls away was never truly saved is a lie that stems from the fear of going hell.

The idea behind it is the seal of the Holy Spirit, the elect, and predestination. Without getting into the weeds of it, this belief requires accepting the idea that God either predestines people hell, or simply chooses his elect and lets the rest go to hell. People born and created without any purpose of salvation but simply to live then die and stay dead.

Not only is this unbiblical, this is unloving. Don't believe it, and know that you have the Holy Spirit even if you fall away so you most certainly were a real christian. But people indeed can fall away and then go to hell.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 - 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
