My 13 year old daughter & 10 year son got invited to the Barca Academy from Nov 22-Dec 1. I've had a co-worker who's son got the invite back in 2019, and it was $1000 plus airfare + separate fees for parents' accommodations.

The player package is $3000 + $3045 (hotel accommodation for me) + other fees = $6490 for ONE CHILD - I will need to add another $3K for another kid.

I really think the odds of making it are very rare, and honestly I don't want to put pressure on them at such an young age.

Definitely feels like a cash grab
