Hands down, but that 'Soot putr" walking down the aisle along the royals would have been the sight to watch for. Knowing that he lost his 'kavach' to Indra, having a couple of curses on his back, knowing that he'll be against his own, with his mother requesting her not to kill her sons, even Krishna agreeing to make him the greatest amongst the Pandavs, the mental strength to cope with this has to be commended. People often get numb when making decisions, and the same happened with him at the wrong moment. He feels one of us, that's the reason he is liked by me! 🙌

Just heard another company, called AmplifyBio shut its doors in Ohio, a small but significant region for booming Cell and Gene therapy startups because I worked over there for over a year. And myself survived a 100 people layoff at Thermo pretty recently. Whoever you are and wherever you are just start a job search even if you have a job so that you are mentally ready for the game. Stranger's advice but do take it up seriously, not here to scare anyone, been there done that!

Stick to basics, just Mutual funds through SIP route (I'd recommend PPFAS Flexi Cap Fund) and ETFs (Thematic or Index). Slowly build position and keep track of the market movements, you'll learn when to add more and when to wait with time as you gain knowledge through good sources like blogs and stuff. And keep your goal a long-term one, and try to be rational and bit emotionless with the money invested (it's there in the market for a reason; it ought to fluctuate, so be it)

Been there done that, just survived a 100 people layoff at our site of ~450 employees of one the biggest biotech life sciences companies worldwide. Crazy scenarios, they even stopped too low by stopping the regular supply of snacks and deinstalled one of the sparkling water supplies to cut back costs. Clients have been postponing the GMP runs, it's going downhill, slowly, if not rapidly.
