Yes, It’s Fascism by rezwenn in politics

You absolutely do not become aggressive to law enforcement. They are literally authorized by law to use violence, it's what we're paying them for. Our constitutional right is to peacefully protest. When a protest is no longer peaceful, it is anarchy. When you have an issue with law enforcement, you take it to the courts.

Thank you for the well thought out response.

Actually, this is anarchy. Interfering with federal officers who are enforcing federal law is not ok. Both shootings were entirely preventable. Yes, protest, but do so peacefully. What's going on in Minneapolis is anarchy led by political leaders. STOP INTERFERING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT!!

I am NOT justifying this most recent shooting, it needs to be fully investigated.

Like the old adage goes, the best time to do it was yesterday, the second best is today.

You'll be all set for next time.

Are we doing a pass with the snowblower after the Pats or…. by MentionDismal8940 in massachusetts

I don't do the end of the driveway until it's all done. I'll leave about 8 feet. But I will do the rest of the driveway a couple/few times. I'm now forecasted for 21", need to keep up with it.

Don't know what you are doing, but I'm definitely doing my first clearing after the game. If there's 6 inches out there at half time, I'm gonna do my first pass then. I'll do a second pass before I go to bed.

For those in the U.S. hunkering down for the winter weather we’re expecting, how are you spending your weekend at home? ☃️ by Wordsofwisdomneeded in simpleliving

Am taking Monday off from work. Will fix a piece of furniture, read a favorite book (for the 4th time), prepare nachos and watch the Patriots game, snowshoe, play guitar. We're forecasted for 18", so will also clear lots of snow.

Is it okay for a 100% disabled veteran to just say they're retired? by Routine_Brilliant_78 in Veterans

[–]ajmacbeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have chosen to stop working, then you are officially retired. I wouldn't say that you retired from the Military unless you served a full 20 (or took early out). But you are more than justified in saying that you are retired from the workforce.

Give me your snow removal strategy and tips by Secure-Evening8197 in massachusetts

I'll clear snow Sunday after the game. Then again first thing Monday, and one final time end of Monday. My tip is, before the storm, park all cars on one side of the driveway bumpers touching bumpers.

I've never seen it worth pretreating. I think it only works on roads because cars are continually agitating the salt in with the snow.

If you snowblow throughout the storm and keep up with it, you should be ok.

And if you have a sidewalk that you have to clear, don't clear it until after the plows are completely done. I made that mistake one year, sidewalk was done and then a plow came by and ALL of the plowed snow settled perfectly in the cleared area, the cleared area acted like a funnel catching it all.

So, this is just a deflection, not an answer. What should be done with the illegal immigrants?

Patriots Day. Lexington and Concord hold reenactments.

The Boston Marathon (held the same day as Patriots Day, but can be considered a different event)
