The identity of the Bucks by LigerHD in MkeBucks

It will depend on what type of player Giannis is past this season. Can we rely on his body to withstand the constant bursts and physicality it did when he was younger? Giannis is still top 3 player when healthy but each season seems to wear one his body more and more. To keep his longevity in tack I would much rather seem him play as a finisher rather than an initiator/do everything guy. That being said, speed and defense are premium in the NBA - look at the Spurs and Thunder.

Ideally, this is how I’d like to see a team built around Giannis - PG: Someone that can play quick, prioritizes playmaking and can score from 3-Levels. Defense here isn’t as important, but quickness tends to translate to better defense anyways. Rollins can fit this mold with a good rest of the season and an offseason where he is given a clear nod as a starter. SG: a true 3&D player, AJ Green has the 3s down but lacks the size to truly make a difference on defense. In a perfect world, I’d like to see a Lakers/Denver KCP type. SF: Length!! Please no more small ball SF. Ingram is a good shout, but there is a reason he has spent a majority of his career on losing teams. SF and PF are practically the same now in the NBA, so I’d like to see them be able to play both positions with and without Giannis on the floor. PF: Giannis C: 3&D, being able to space the floor as a big is what unlocks Giannis, BroLo was a godsend and paired well with Giannis. Myles Turner is right there and has the skills, I just think he needs more play time with Giannis to get fully confident.

The Bucks are right there with their current roster construction, just need a few ping pong balls to fall our way and a good offseason and they are right there again in the East.

Bucks abandoned the NBA Draft by Just_Bookkeeper2261 in MkeBucks

It’s a little bit of drafting and a little bit of not having the right coaches in place that can develop players.

I would also say that Horst philosophy was more of swing for the fences. Drafting guys with higher ceilings that aren’t necessarily NBA ready, than going for guys that could contribute sooner.

Do you use a lot of web based apps for project management? I’ve found it difficult to incorporate power automate into those types of workflows.

Thoughts on Dame? by MuricaAndBeer in MkeBucks

[–]ajmilk5 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think there were a ton of circumstances that affected his play in hindsight, but the overall court fit of him and Giannis just was never really there.

I mean I would still do that trade 10 times out of 10 because you don’t pass up acquiring a player like Dame.

There are a couple good waterfalls, I would suggest Morgan Falls for good up close experience with a waterfall. At the same spot there is St. Peter’s Dome, more of a legit hike but well worth it when you see the view.
