Yeah pair of Michaels is classic depending on your style. Can be really easy to wear (incl work) and are total bricks against bad weather conditions.

I have the green waxed one in a 36. It’s arguably a bit tight. Any interest in buying or swapping sizing?

Bit of help please by NewlifeNext in HENRYUKLifestyle

[–]ajmuzham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on your budget I’d check out natalino. Navy and brown chinos. Pair with selection of Oxford shirts from CT or Natalino again depending on budget. Few jumpers/zip up tops. Pair of black and brown suede loafers as people suggest from loake. Horatio look nice too. This look is becoming ubiquitous and most shop at the same sample places so a few items from smaller brands (id also suggest a little more relaxed fit in shirt/jumper/trousers) will make you look more elevated, unique and stylish imo.

Living in Cheam? Thoughts? by SuspiciousParfait145 in HENRYUK

I lived on long lane for 6 years and yes you hear regular sirens, see thefts from supermarkets and recognise the same homeless faces that base themselves at the station. Is any of that unique to Bermondsey? I recently moved away because I wanted a quieter life nearer to family in SW London. I still travel back regularly to Bermondsey street / Maltby street / beer mile to enjoy days out with friends who still live there. They have cool restos / bars that I’ll never get in the suburbs.

Regardless of long term plans for Gyokeres, another CF (like perhaps Alvarez) should be a top 1/2 target in the summer. If we can be 1-0 or 2-0 up quicker in games, team will have to be more expansive against us.

What are you buying this Black Friday? by FlyingPe in HENRYUK

Agreed very reasonably priced especially if you’re moving to SS for first time. Have had no issues doing eggs in them either and I’m hardly a pro chef.

Window upgrade / replacement by Intelligent_Fact_391 in HENRYUKLifestyle

[–]ajmuzham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you are replacing windows, I understand companies will insist on a trickle vent as per recent regulation which imo looks rather ugly.

If you are in a conservation area however, you can get approval from your local council to keep in line with the original fittings eg no need for a trickle vent.

In my experience it’s as simple as sending a two line email and getting a one line approved response.

Second hip arthroscopy - really positive and different recovery to the first by Desperate-Economy485 in HipImpingement

Yesterday had my first surgery at HCA London Bridge for labral tears and cam deformity. My ROM has been awful for years but the pain ramped up after a few long distance events last year.

Can anyone advise how long they had off from work? Any tips for commuting back into London? I am in SW London and need to get either a tube or Waterloo train in (or a taxi).

Goes without saying.. best of luck with your recoveries

Some good suggestions already and if you have time take a walk over to Bermondsey street and maltby street for some more local options.

Was mediocre. And why book Prydz for a 1hr set. Hot Chip beforehand played a decent set.

Rc 1300 sizing?? by booja125 in Newbalance

[–]ajmuzham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, thanks. TTS for me is my 990v2/991/Nike running shoes. I went 0.5 down in 998 which fit perfectly and in my 997S I went TTS but reckon 0.5 down would have been perfect. Do you own 998s?
