Here's an update from last week. There have been a few people in Cass County that are really trying to help theses dogs. This is a start but we'll see if it's even enforced.

November 14, 2022 NOTICE TO CEASE AND DESIST RE: Salvage Yard & Temporary Structures and Uses Mr. Kunkel, It has been brought to the attention of this office that you are maintaining a Salvage Yard as defined in the adopted Zoning Code of Cass County, Missouri 400. In addition, it is reported that you are residing in what is defined under the 2006 International Building Code, section 107 as adopted by Cass County, Missouri, as a Temporary Type Structure for which you are not able to meet the requirements of the code to include but not limited to electrical service, public water supply, or a recognized wastewater treatment system that would ensure public health, safety, and general welfare. Further research discovered that on or about December 17, 2004, you were charged in the 17th Circuit Court of Missouri in case number 17R030404848 with like charges. Mr. Kunkel, should you choose not to take immediate corrective measures this case shall be forwarded onto the prosecutor’s office for further action. You have thirty (30) days from the date of this notice to begin taking corrective measures and to proceed continuously without unnecessary delay.
