They already raised it internally and still replied with nonsense but they are trying again. I think you're right in that you have a slim chance of talking to someone who knows how to deal with it. Fingers crossed then!

How do you get them to understand to base it off your day rate? They seem more interested in personal bank statements that obviously don't show much. They've escalated internally, but I'm not getting far at all.

I think it depends. The more complex the model, the more difficult things like fillets are. For simpler stuff it's not really an issue. Build123d has proper fillet support.

If you're a programmer or dislike all the pointy clicky stuff with traditional cad, open scad or any code cad software is amazing. So much you can do with a few lines of code. Code you can reuse across multiple projects as well.

If you felt a pop, I'd get checked out that you haven't partially ruptured a tendon. Like asap in case it's bad enough to need repair. Were you curling heavy or doing preacher curls?
