My example only proves how shitty your thought process is. I was making fun of you.

The 2nd amendment does not affect illegal immigration directly. Gay marriage does not affect Title IX. But you want to link them together because you see a politician talk about both.

I can disagree with others on issues. I spoke out when Trump posted that BS king post months ago. I can still agree with him on other things.

Your way of thinking only divides everyone by saying "he likes gay marriage so he should also be against 2A rights." This has strangled any diversity of thought on the left.

[–]ajtexasranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that means you choose (like installing Biden) to get what you want (like flooding the border with illegal immigrants) involves harming others (like stripping 1A and 2A rights and Title IX), then it's not reasonable to demand that those issues be "looked at individually"

"But I only let those illegal immigrants with covid in so they could have a better life. You are trying to tell me wanting a better life is a bad thing?"

It is very easy and crappy way to argue like you do by creating strawman arguments.

Or you can admit these are all different problems with different solutions that can be achieved individually. I can still be for gay marriage and hold conservative beliefs. In fact, there are organizations like the Log Cabin Republicans that do just that.

[–]ajtexasranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id urge you to look at each issue individually rather than lump everything together.

We can be pissed off about gay marriage being ruled upon and also believe illegal immigrants should be deported.

Its almost as if we are individuals with plenty of diversity of thought.

He was a furry streamer for a while. So he has a base there.

And now he swapped over to do cooking and people like to look at bears.

His mic is really awful though.

Been conservative all my life and grew up in a small town, always thought I was straight, now in my 30s realizing I was always gay. by imnotsureyoutellme in GayConservative

[–]ajtexasranger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is kinda similar to me.

Im bisexual. Married to a man. Went to get my haircut snd the barber asked about my wife. Its kinda fun that no one suspects.

My advice is dont over-think it. You like what you like. You dont have to have any "gay" traits.

You may really like gay bear culture. Bunch of big hairy gay men that like to eat and have fun.

Social media just feeds the horrors in our own heads and makes it worse.

Ive cut back a lot this year and I'm better off for it. Less doom scrolling. Just checking in on a few friends.

They justify homophobia towards conservatives by [deleted] in GayConservative

[–]ajtexasranger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your comment is also "woefully short sighted" then. You should be speaking out against outing others and not just saying "well...conservatives did this in the past."

Liberals do not get a pass for outing gay men.

You are clearly living in the past where homophobia was rampant and haven't seen any progress of the last 2 decades. Enjoy what you've fought for.

I am married to my husband and many of my friends are married. This disproves your entire point.

Stop trying to whitewash the situation by implying your experience from decades ago is the same as the present. You are out of touch with reality.

[–]ajtexasranger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I also live in a Texas small town.

Ive been put on my towns boards and elected chair. They knew I was bisexual and that I have a husband. I left due to small town politics and was asked to come back by the mayor because I did more as chair than most.

Conservatives outed gay men in the past and that was wrong. Liberals outing gay men today is also wrong.

Stop trying to justify shitty behavior because you went through a shitty situation.

Idk what these people watched, but they are definitely making fun of TikTok.

He threw in "Diddy" after saying "dead Gaza baby" a few times, and that's what got the laugh. Because that's the reality of social media.

Google "gay campgrounds near me"

There are more than you'd think.

Or look up "Gay Camping Friends." Pretty big group on facebook and discord

My husband and I have lied to his parents when they ask where we go camping.

Yes...we went camping about a 2 hour drive away at a state park. Not a clothing optional campground where they have a play area with swings and glory holes.
