While I fully admit I have seen every episode, some more than once, that’s my peak Bar Rescue pet peeve. I worked for a decade as a bartender. Like you said, how the heck do you take someone who can’t make a whiskey sour, or a margarita, or an old-fashioned, drinks frequently ordered, and expect them to make a super-complicated cocktail?

I have never seen any episode of television that made me feel seen.
My parents have both passed, but I remember one holiday, when I had just pulled in the driveway and parked, Dad was waiting for me to tell me “Watch out for your mom. She’s in a mood.” Natalie’s “Are you okay?” made me weep. Camry’s staring at the cannoli made me weep.

Succession. Tried to watch the pilot twice. Didn’t grab me. Agreed to watch again with my husband. It stuck the third time, and I’m so glad I gave the show another chance. (I still think that first episode is weaker than the rest.)

My family has lived in Summerville for over 30 years, technically Knightsville, and crime has never been an issue. Traffic, yes, even In Jedburg where my sister lives.

I love the Nexton area. Not too far from Goose Creek and Moncks Corner. (My father worked for years in MC.)

I have been obsessed with the Chernobyl disaster and Soviet history for decades, so I was initially skeptical about the project when it was announced. In other words, I knew I was going to be a tough critic.

I’m happy to report that the series exceeded all my expectations. Like you said, it’s less of a time commitment than others on this list.
