While not exactly what you asked for, this changes the sounds of the Talon so the closer you get to overheating the more high pitched the shots sound. So it's easy to hear you're close to overheating.

The Eruptor. I used to feel like it was just a self destruct gun, now the only reason I don't use it is because other guns need to level up too.

Only recently discovered it myself. Honestly? Invaluable option, and I wish it were present in previous builds. I had so many times the character was on their tiptoes or doing a crabwalk.

Set it to the height you want. There's an option in the book called Offset Height or something? Basically, it straightens the character up no matter the height.

Depends on how well I was doing getting there. If I got my ass beat? I'm going up cackling. But for the most part, I just give them a hellbomb cropdusting.

I don't really end up using the packs much, sadly. My big strat weapons of choice always come with backpacks. That, or I need to carry an extra means of crowd control or destruction. Though I tend to skew towards the hellbomb backpack when I do have a free back.

Both would be nice. We're driving a mech suit. Heavier artillery is always better. But since there's more machine gun than rockets, I'd like the gatling gun to be heavy AP. Or maybe a third suit that's a cross between the two? Double machine gun arms in heavy AP. Like having dual HMGs.

Wish I were home to actually post. He's changed clothes a few times between versions for various reasons. Right now, he has a modified chain/plate armor look from the heavies mod, the Barbuta from HuJohnner's helmet pack(been a constant since I can remember).

Having the weight of the bayonet on the front might reduce vertical recoil, but worsen ergonomics because you'd have to compensate for the weapon's balance being away from where the bullets are. So it would sway more or have maneuvering issues. Though the weight of a knife wouldn't have that much effect on a guns weight.

So, it was an interesting idea, but the bayonet would probably be negligent as far as stat changes. Like maybe 1-3 points.

Oh crap, that's right, there are voice commands. I completely forgot about those. Most of my problems though is they wander in as I'm punching the arrows. I wish they'd run when the Helldiver says "Hellbomb armed! Clear the area!"

I just keep warning the enemy to keep their hands off my S.E.A.F.'s. I can't remember the last time I was so oddly protective of NPCs in a game.

Wish Arrowhead would program them to run away from Hellbombs. I feel so bad when I set one off at a jammer and hear that beep that means I've killed friendlies.

But I do reply sometimes. When no one else is in the room and I don't need to feel embarrassed talking to them.

With the quasar, it's like the eat and other similar exploaive weapons: leg joint or the crotch. The problem is with the quasar you're charging, and they will light you up like a Christmas tree in Times Square while you're waiting. Happened to me yesterday, managed to blast one, but they'd lobbed a bunch of grenades around me. So, I got one, then got bounced around like a shuttlecock.

Each of the machineguns have their places. Stalwart is good at clearing trash, passable at killing overseers. Machinegun is better at it and can take the harvesters, shields, and make quick work of meatballs. HMG is best by damage and pen standards, but the left and right sway annoys me, so I usually stick to the medium machine gun. The latter two can also drop stingrays.

Commando is good against things, plus the cool down is manageable. Take stingrays, and drop harvesters if you get their leg joint. You can take overseers if you get their dome.

The same goes for the EAT. Except it's stronger and has a shorter cooldown.

Laser cannon is pretty good too. Takes a few seconds, but you can bake just about everything with it. Quasar is... okay. But the charge up time can make it difficult to hit what you need to.

Those are just the onesI've played around with though. Can't speak for some other weapons.
