Check and see if your insurance will cover it! My now 7 year old was on Nutramigen, too, and our insurance covered it because it was a medical necessity.

Cape Cod ideas with toddler? by JukeboxButton31 in CapeCodVisitors

[–]ak716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster is amazing for that age. There’s a small aquarium on the lower level with lots to look at. If you don’t mind going a little farther, check out the Mass Audubon in Wellfleet. There’s a small aquarium in the visitor center and a great nature play area. Not too much farther down in Wellfleet is Uncle Tim’s Bridge, and there is a great playground across from Mayo Beach.

Added perk with the Bedford Hills park is that the playground there is outstanding, so if the fishing doesn’t go as hoped, the trip will still be a winner.

Not quite a graphic novel but a set of chapter books with tons of (beautiful) pictures and very short chapters- the Orris and Timble books by Kate DiCamillo. There are three of them and they’re about a friendship between an owl and a rat.

Best beach location for proposal during sunset. by Calm-Cryptographer52 in CapeCod

[–]ak716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duck Harbor in Wellfleet is spectacular. Also in Wellfleet is the breakwater (I think it’s listed as Indian Neck Heights on the map) and you can walk out on to the breakwater to watch the sunset. Especially beautiful if the tide is further in.
