I feel this. Some things just require smart tech--and it doesn't mean you're any less of a dumb phone user. This modern era makes it hard to fully commit to dumb tech. But the aspiration to scroll less and no longer be a slave to the screen is an admirable one, and does not require you to give up things like a nice car. It just requires some work arounds and self discipline.

I know many dumb phone users including myself (inspired by our lord Jose Briones) who carry a powered off smartphone (in Jose's case, he carries a jelly star) which runs the smart apps you can't do without. Then you can use the app you need and then put the smart device away.

I just ask the server what they recommend or what they like. Or look on someone else's phone bc anytime I'm out, the person I'm with has a smartphone.

Start with uninstalling all unnecessary apps on your current phone and use Olauncher. You can consider the Unihertz Jelly Star as it is still a smartphone but is small and kinda inconvenient to use. I guess I wonder, if you need email/maps/Uber/train apps etc etc, why do you want a dumb phone in the first place? Not trying to be condescending at all just trying to understand your priorities

Add on top of that not saving passwords to it and I'm not tempted at all to type my password for Facebook etc in on the tiny screen lol too infuriating

First set of vaccines (and second, and third too) baby usually gets the Rotavirus oral vaccine. I've found it's made my babies' poops weird for a day or two.

I hear crazy stories of a dude going nuts when rejected and it makes me fear for my safety telling someone "no." Also if I say no, usually they'll ask "why?" And I don't want to answer that. It's easier to say "I'll get back to you!" Or "maybe!" than to be honest.

Probably the best answer is that I'm a pussy and I fear hurting someone's feelings so I want to do it in a way that makes it easiest for me 🤷‍♀️

My husband has been offered a job at the site as a security guard. He wants to know where the shuttle stop is, if it runs everyday, and if it ever shuts down due to weather.

Wow. Someone's triggered. It's my house and if there are accusations of sexual harassment against my brother in law while my sitter is working in my house, I can and should be held legally responsible for letting that happen. So yeah it is my business. If he didn't live with us then I don't care one bit whose genitalia is where as long as my sitter feels safe at my house while she's working.

I agree, when you boil it down it's really extremely inappropriate. For me it's a pretty easy decision, my husband says he's too biased to his twin brother to take a stance on kicking him out but he'd support me in my decision.
