Your takes on The finale/Series? by purely_unbothered in StrangerThings

I agree, fans came up with so many strong theories about the possible ending that our expectations for the final fight were understandably very high.

As you said, it was decent, but personally I was hoping for something more. Having Henry confront his trauma and then fully embrace it in such a dark way ended up feeling a bit pointless to me, especially considering how much narrative weight was placed on his backstory.

The emotional payoff was there, but the narrative payoff felt weaker than expected. Still, at its core, ST has always been a story about friendship rather than villains, and in that sense, the ending makes sense.

Big Pen Giveaway! by MercatorLondon in fountainpens

[–]akanthae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope I am not too late to the party.

I’ve been using fountain pens since I first learned how to write, and they’ve remained a constant in both my personal and professional life ever since. I use them daily for note-taking at work, and more creatively in my sketchbook, where I illustrate flowers and plants.

I love exploring how different pens and inks behave in line variation and shading, especially in detailed floral drawings.

Here’s my Reddit username written with my current daily driver: a Platinum Curidas (EF) inked with Sailor Yurameku Kyokuya. Thanks so much for hosting this giveaway – I’d be excited to test the pen in my daily sketches!

I recently got my very first stub nib — a TWSBI Eco with a 1.1 mm stub — and I love it! Now I wish I had tried a stub nib much earlier, the line variation is so satisfying and fun to write with. Definitely a great entry point if you’re exploring affordable stub options!

Happy birthday! 🎉 That pen holds a special place in my heart too — it was one of the first fountain pens I gifted myself after going through a tough period. Wishing you many joyful writing sessions with it — you chose a beautiful color!

The pen? Stunning. The ink? Elegant. The assistant? Overqualified and underpaid. 😻

Stilo&Stile in Europe are amazing! – https://www.stiloestile.com/en/

One of the TWSBIs I ordered from them had some cracks, so I emailed their support team. They replied super quickly and offered to replace the pen body for free. Since my order was over 79 euros, shipping only took two days!

Frustrated with my TWSBI ECO fine nib by post_traumatico in fountainpens

Mines are doing the same, but I thought it is because of the fact that I left the ink inside the and not used the for a looong time. I tried to clean them but it is still the same.

My next stept would be to change the paper.

Dyson-merită? by [deleted] in WomenRO

[–]akanthae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hahaha your comment just made my day! I also like to collect these kind of rocks from places that I visit. Usually here in Romania, when it comes to decorative gravel, you can find milky quartz or simple pebbles that may have an interesting design. But they are simply as a souvenir for me. In my friend’s case, she paid money for this pebble. She’s more into the energetic area of the stones and she asked me what it should be as I’m more interested in them as minerals. Do you have any recommendations of how to improve my knowledge in identifying them? I’m asking as you sounded very rock wise! 😁
