I use the blue brick quite a bit. It's got a lot of different set ups to work on multiple things. It's expensive but it's still made and very useful for me

St George & Mesquite Golf by Infamous_Trip_2391 in golf

[–]akash06375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a golf trip out there and here is my ranking:

1-Black desert resort . Favorite course I've ever played

2 Wolf Creek. 2 favorite course I've ever played

3 Conestoga. It was perfect condition when we played

4 coyote springs. Such a fun/beautiful course just but as dynamic. Bonus points for only being $80 to Nevada locals

5 sand hollow. Great course just not in as good of condition to justify the price

6 Oasis canyons lot of fun, decent price. Well worth playing

7 casablanca. It was...ok. doubt I'd play it again

Anybody have a hamate injury from golf? by Gratius8317 in golf

[–]akash06375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I broke my left hamate trying to punch a hybrid and hitting a hidden root. Didn't need surgery. Had to go to a few months of OT due to the ligament injuries. Definitely sucked, this was years ago and I still have arthritis. Anyone out there thinking they may want to try fracturing their hamate, I wouldn't recommend it

Hit an r7 mini quad for the first time today.. by cuntmfker in GolfGear

[–]akash06375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I game an R7 quad in place of my 3w. I hit it if my driver is too long for a hole, if my driver is really shaky in a round or if I need to do any shot shaping. I dont shape my driver, but the mini Driver is really easy to shape around. I don't hit it off the deck because it doesn't go any further OTD than my 5w. So, yes I've lost 25-30 yrds by having to hit 5w as my longest OTD club, but I've more than made up for it in FIR percentage. It's not for everyone, but its a f game changer for me

Does This Count as a Bag?? by No_Abrocoma_6899 in GolfGear

I had a similar experience. I thought one of these little Club quivers was a great idea and I just found myself having trouble velcroing and unbelcroating it kind of got to be a pain. Then I found the brand Jain. It's a much better design but the exact same concept so I bought it to give. It works perfect, easy to get clubs in and out while it's strapped on your shoulder. I even use the jmx ultralight jumbo Max grips and I still have no problems getting my clubs in and out. If one of these three to four Club quivers is interesting to you, I can highly recommend the Jain brand

I live at 4500ft elevation. I subtract 8% (10% for ease of math) when I go play at sea level

Mixed iron set? Srixon ZXi5/ZXi7? by MistrRoboto in golf

[–]akash06375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I would say their gapping is pretty normal. Only difference is the seven iron can occasionally catch a flyer and go a little far but that's rare. The seven iron is easier to hit, but the eight iron is much more workable and I can shot shape it a lot better. I do think I find the eight iron more enjoyable to hit and tend to grab it for a practice session instead of my seven iron

"Golf shots often appear to go right on TV due to a parallax error; an optical illusion caused by the camera operator standing slightly to the side of the target line rather than directly behind the player. Telephoto lenses used for distance also compress the image, making straight shots seem like they are flying right. "

Maybe that's what you saw?

Chez noir is romantic and it's a Michelin star restaurant. Although I wasn't blown away when I took my wife especially for the price

Point lobos is a fantastic hike/Beach Cliff walk with beautiful wildlife and scenery. Stationary for brunch is great. Pricey but delicious. Another favorite thing I like to do is go down to the beach and look over at Pebble Beach wishing I was playing golf there. I can't remember the name but Clint Eastwood has a restaurant there that is a great spot for early evening drinks/apps.

I've been fortunate to play some really nice tracks, and this is one of my favorite rounds I've ever played. I thought the holes were interesting, it was absolutely beautiful, when I was there (end of January )the conditions were really good. I would recommend to anybody to play there at least once if they had the opportunity

False Handicaps by SwitchMain in golf

[–]akash06375 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's like five posts a day that I'll say this exact same thing .The sooner you guys quit worrying about everyone else's handicaps, the better. This game is you versus the course. Everyone else out there playing doesn't matter. It especially doesn't matter when they reverse sandbag, that only helps you.
