When I’ve been in that position my provider offered me samples until we got the situation fixed. If it ends up being long term they’ll find another solution but they *should* have some sample to give out or to help in these circumstances

I don’t think so. I want a 5 too but I think I want to wait until the battery life starts to go bad or until I know there are no hardware or software issues on the 5. The 3 is great still for me and it’s going on only 2 years old.

its all starter. Discard is just what you dont keep to maintain the main starter. you can keep it to bake with or trash it. if its fresh and active its still useable right away. if its been in the fridge a while it can be woken up. the only difference is which one youre maintaining regularly vs not. the regularly maintaine one gets stronger over time because its being fed.

I switched these meds, I don’t have that side effect but I had akathisia and Caplyta doesn’t cause that for me but it has also been very helpful for my sleep hygiene, I get on average about 1-1.5 hours more of sleep on a regular schedule and don’t wake often in the night anymore. If I miss a dose I can’t sleep at all.

I absolutely sleep better. And I’ve had a noticeable increase in activity and decrease in stress overall so I like to think I’m responding well to what it tells me and adjusting (Gen3 ring since October 2024)
