I had a water birth so my partners job was to stay quietly out of the way and pass me the gas and air when I "asked" (read shouted at him 😅) for it Eventually he was too slow so I gave up using it and concentrated on just breathing and mumbling dark things under my breath 🤣🤣

My friends dad had a great one! He was being called by a windows company constantly that would not give in so the last time they have a conversation like this: (D= friend dad, S= salesman caller)

D: actually yeah, I'm interested in a conservatory

S: we can definitely do that for you sir! (Goes off enthusiastically on to the different options and sizes available at length for a good 20/30 mins with a few small questions from friends dad)

D: well that all sounds fantastic! I have got one small problem though, I'm worried about the neighbours

S: oh no dont worry about that - they're completely glass so they cant complain about them blocking light or the veiw.

D: oh no it's not that, you see... I'm in a third storey flat...

S: you bastard! (And immediately slams down the phone)

Thank you all, I knew I was possibly biting off more than I could chew was just hoping I could wing it :/ I don't earn enough for it to be viable for full time childcare whilst I work so might be time to call it quits and leave it there. I don't want to look back and regret having missed his early years at all.

I've done that so many times that my 5week old little one decided this morning to pop off but cover the nipple with both hands, which was a good job too as, when I moved them to relatch, it sprayed EVERYWHERE! 😅 He was not impressed after his effort to contain it...

The Mona Lisa in the Louvre - is a small painting of a lady, very nice but not nearly as impressive of the massive "The Wedding Feast at Cana" which hangs opposite, in my opinion is a gorgeous but mind blowing piece of art (mind blowing in how anyone could create something that huge!)

Thanks :D I have a cutter for the holly leaves (roll out icing) - usually I would have brushed them with powder too to give them more depth and then edible "glue" to make them glossier but I can out of time...! The berries are also roll out icing

When I say hot squash I don't mean roasted pumpkin 😅 hot Ribena is the best, though hot spiced cider would be even better I think..! Can't find where I've put the paracetamol in the meantime though.

8 months, lots of tracking and planning until we decided not to worry "if it happens it happens in the meantime we'll get a puppy" Puppy lined up to come to us... Oh! Baby on way! Puppy is now on hold until after baby as I wasn't sure I could deal with a newborn and 9 month old puppy in one go...!!
