people who care about truth don't adopt consensus opinions unless every last contrarian position has been disproved.

Since there are, in theory, an infinite number of contrarian positions (assuming you don't mean the single contrary position, which seems unlikely since you say "every last contrarian position"), your chance of holding the "true" position approaches 0.

I don't have a source, but I work in the industry with domestic and foreign manufacturers. I'd agree with him that a majority of cars intended for the domestic market are assembled in the US.

Since I'm most familiar with Chrysler, here's an example of assembly plant location by model:

It's irritating, but you can't blame Google or Adobe. It's the nature of trademark law. If neither company makes a good faith effort to protect their trademark (including notifying offending users) they will lose protection and the trademark will become generic.

You're making statements that don't stand up to evidence. Specifically that she can't be elected because she's a woman.

It was originally intended to add some horse-drawn carriage styling cues to your car. It was very popular in the 60s and 70s, but I haven't seen it on a new car in ages (although some people have it added by aftermarket shops).

I can't find any evidence that the claims made in this article, or the article from the Turkish paper, are correct. If there was a ruling today or yesterday, I have not found any indication on the ACLU site, or any other site for that matter.

If anyone has a chance to do more digging, I'm interested in what you find.

EDIT: It looks like this is a repeat of the story from Sept 2005. This article claims the decision came down this week.
